After a few minutes of collecting her thoughts, Crystal checked the time before realising that she was three minutes late to lesson. She didn't realise that she was on video call for that long. Checking her appearance in the mirror and collecting her phone, she walked at a fast pace to Griselda's classroom.
Taking a deep breathe in, Crystal opened the door to see a classroom. As she entered the classroom, Crystal took note of the rows of elegantly arranged desks occupied with fairies. Griselda was writing on the massive board, facing away from the students. The classroom held warmth, juxtaposing the piercing wind outside. The windows allowed glistening sun rays to enter the classroom, bringing light and emphasising the warmth inside.
Whispers broke out in the classroom as they noticed Crystal at the door. Who was this unfamiliar face? If she was a student why has she not attended previous lessons?
Hearing the disturbance in her classroom, Griselda turned around to see what the commotion was about. Noticing Crystal at the door, Griselda motioned Crystal to come into the classroom with a smile on her face (which shocked the other students as Griselda rarely smiled.).
Hesitantly, Crystal walked into the classroom and greeted Griselda with a simple hello.
"A pleasure for you to join us Miss Crystal," Miss Griselda responded.
Louder whispers broke out in the classroom. All the students were wondering whot his new person was and why she did not get told off for being late to the class. One fairy who was brave enough to speak for the rest asked Griselda who Crystal was.
"I would like to introduce you to our new teacher assistant. Her name is Crystal and she will be helping out during lessons with demonstrations and any enquiries you have," Griselda answered the question.
The whispers died down as the students processed the information they just received. Another fairy, Daisy put her hand up signalling she wanted to ask a question.
"Yes Daisy, What is your question?"
"How is she qualified to be a teaching assitant, she looks extremely young?" Daisy questions.
Griselda gestured to Crystal to answer the question.
Trying not to give too much of her life away, Crystal said "Well I am the same age as the second years at Alfea, seeing as I am 17. However I completed my full Alfea education last year and am advanced in all the subjects. I was homeschooled so that is why I completed the course quicker and therefore am now qualified to be a teaching assistant."
After Crystal said this, there were no more questions and so Griselda started to teach the lesson. Today's lesson was on the different protective spells a fairy could use against enemy attacks. After teaching the theory for this lesson, with the help from Crystal, everyone made their way to the courtyard in order for a demonstration.
