Thursday, 5:23 PM.
Christmas Eve.
Lex and I set up the christmas tree and I just keep smiling. She glances at me catching me staring.
"What?" She said smirking.
"Haha, nothing love." I went back to putting up ornaments.
We both put our hands In the box at the same time. Grabbing the same ornament. smirking she puts her free hand around my waist. pulling me closer she kisses my lips gently. I blush.
"Lex. I want to invite my parents over tonight." I looked at her in the eyes. She was still holding me.
"That's just fine. I would love to meet them. I hope they like me." She replied and smiled.
"Great. I'm going to call them right now." I reached for my phone and we sat down om the couch.
"Hey sweetie." she answered.
"I want you and dad to meet my girlfriend." I replied smiling.
There was a moment of silence. Lex looked at me. My mom finally replied back after thinking.
"Sure honey. I will tell your father." She coughed over the phone.
"You alright mom?" I asked her. Lex rubbed my leg a little worried too.
"Yes love. I'll see you later. love you." she coughed again.
"I love you too." I said.
My mother hung up. That was the last I heard from her.
Thursday, 10:45 PM.
I really thought they were going to come. I was worried too. Soon I received a phone call. It wasn't what I wanted to hear.
"Hello?" I answered with a worried tone.
"Is this Alicia?" A voice said.
"Yes...who is this?" I replied.
"There's been an accident. I believe your parent's didn't make it." He said.
Immediately I dropped the phone. My heart sunk to the bottom of my stomach. I dropped to the floor, lex rushed in the kitchen to comfort me. I was emotionally destroyed. Everything went upside...it left me breathless. I couldn't breathe it was too much...
