Chapter 13

"Harry, Hermione, Ron," Neville pauses, obviously happy to see them but also clearly confused, "you two people..."

"Neville." Harry says, "you look like-"

"Like hell I'd reckon? Oh this is nothing. Seamus is worse. We've got a couple more coming through."

You start to walk down a tunnel, following the Neville boy.

"Well this was never on the Marauders map." Ron says.

"That's cause it never existed 'til now. Several secret passages were sealed off before the start of the year, this is the only way in or out now. Grounds are crawling with death eaters and dementors."

"How bad is it with Snape as headmaster?" Hermione asks.

"Hardly ever see him. It's the Carrows you gotta worry about."

"Carrows?" Joseph asks.

Neville sends him a distrustful look but speaks anyways, "yeah brother and sister. In charge of discipline. They like punishment, the Carrows."

"They did that to you, why?" Hermione asks.

"Today dark arts lesson had us practicing the Cruciatus curse," You shiver at the memory of the spell, Harry grabs your hand, "on first years. I refused. A lot has changed."
