I walked into the store but I didn't see her at first glance. I started looking through the isles one by one to see if could I find her. I wanted to get out of this store as quickly as possible because it smelled like ass, flaming hots, and pickle juice. The store was small so it shouldn't take long to spot her. In my haste to find her I ended up bumping into someone and making them fall. I looked down only to see Ken's mom on the floor rubbing her lower back.

"Damn Mercy, watch where you're going." She said while looking up at me. I usually would've said something smart about the ugly ass face she was making while trying to mean mug me but I didn't want to miss the chance to talk to my mystery girl.

"My bad Mya I didn't see you, but I really can't talk right now." I told her as I helped her get to her feet. She continued to mean mug me as I attempted to walk around her but of course with Mya it could never be that easy. She just had to make a big deal out of nothing.

"You didn't see me?" She questioned me as she stepped in front of me, effectively stopping me from going around her. "You didn't see me?" She asked again slightly louder then the first time with a hint of irritation in her voice.

I could tell that this was turning into a situation that I wanted to avoid at all costs. I didn't have time to be going back and forth with her about something that was clearly an accident, but of course she just couldn't let it go.

"How the hell couldn't you see me. Is it that hard for you to focus long enough to pay attention to where you're going."

I had to stop myself from saying something back because I know that will only add fuel to the fire. She continued to rant and fuss about how much of an inconsiderate asshole I am. I just stood there looking over her shoulder so I could keep a close eye on the exit and make sure I didn't miss the whole point of me coming into this store. I glanced over at the cashier to see if he was watching this crazy ass girl in front of me only to see my mystery girl paying for her items. Damn she looks even better up close. Those skin tight jeans made her ass look just right.

"Are you even listening to me?" Mya asked while once again stepping in front of my line of vision. I put my focus on her only to be greeted by that ghetto ass neck roll, and a face that if looks could kill I would be six feet under.

"First you bump into me making me fall on this dusty ass floor. Then you give me that bogus ass apology and try to brush it off like it's nothing, talking about you can't talk right now. Why are you in such a rush anyway?" She asked as she turned around to see what I was looking at. "Ahhh I see. Too busy looking at ole girl to pay attention." She said while shaking her head. "Why am I not surprised." She continued on in a condescending tone. "You know what, I am not going to raise my blood pressure messing around with you. Go have fun being a ho. I hope you catch something." She said as she started walking out the store.

Does it make me an asshole that all I heard was 'blah blah blah.... I'm a hater.... Blah blah blah I want the 'D'.

I shrugged my shoulders and did a mental happy dance that the wicked witch of the west side finally decided to leave me alone. I looked back over at the cashier and saw that my current obsession was getting ready to leave. I was standing near the exit already so I decided to wait for her to come my way before I approached her.

"Why hello there beautiful. I haven't seen you around here before." I said to her right before she reached the door. I could tell I startled her by the way her head snapped up and the look of surprise on her face. I took the time out to really look at her and man she was fine. Smooth chocolate skin, beautiful brown eyes, and don't get me started on that body. She looked to be five seven or so. Just the right height for me, not too short not too tall.

She just looked at me for a few seconds, not saying a word. I studied her face trying to see how easy it was to read her. I caught the shift of her eyes down and then quickly back up obviously checking me out.

"Hello." She finally responded after what seemed like forever. She didn't wait to see if I had anything else to say as she immediately went out the door after her short greeting.

"Hey, wait up sweetheart." I said as I followed her out the door. "I just want to talk to you."

"I don't talk to strangers." She answered back without even glancing back my way. She continued walking towards the curb and pulled out what looked like car keys from her purse. She confirmed it by pointing them at a black Cadillac and unlocking the doors.

"Well let's change that. My name is Mercy." I told her while offering my hand for her to shake. She finally turned to face me but she didn't take my hand.

"Well Mercy I have to go." She said and she turned back around and stepped into her car. She rolled down her windows and started the engine. This gave me the impression she wanted to talk because it was not hot outside so the windows did not need to be down. I went to the passenger side window and stuck my head in.

"I didn't catch your name or number." I told her while giving her my signature smile before she could take off. She pursed her lips in frustration and turned to look at me. This surprised me because I didn't think I did anything that could have made her frustrated or mad.

"I don't remember throwing either one." She said somewhat coldly. I was a little taken back by her tone of voice. What the fuck was her problem. Why do all the fine girls have stank ass attitudes. "Now if you would so kindly step away from my car before you catch my attitude instead of my name or number I would greatly appreciate it." She said with a smile on her face. Was this bitch bipolar or something. If it wasn't for the angry look in her eyes I would have thought she was kidding.

"Damn it's like that?" I asked her as I stepped away from her car. "Your breaking my heart girl." I told her while placing my hands over my heart.

She rolled her eyes while smacking her lips. "Sounds like a personal problem to me." She yelled to me as she took off down the street.

She left me standing there looking like a straight jackass. I felt someone come up behind me and they placed their hands on my shoulder.

"Damn nephew who was that?" Asked Will as we both stood there watching as her car sped down the street.

"I don't know unc, but she got a stank ass attitude." I replied with a bit of bitterness in my voice. I'm not gone stunt, she hurt my pride a little bit. She just straight treated a nigga.

Will looked at me from the corner of his eyes and just gave me a snaggletooth grin. "Well nephew, looks like this one is immune to your charm." He said while giving me pat on the back.

"Yea yea, whatever unc. I'm not thinking about her. I got better things to do if you know what I mean." I told him as I began to walk back to my apartment.

Will just laughed as he walked beside me. "Who you think you foolin, you probably thinking about her right now."

"You funny unc but I'm about to head to the crib." I told him as I came to a stop to show him I wanted him to stop following me.

"OK ok I get it. Just don't think so hard you get a headache." He said as he turned and walked back towards the park still laughing.

I continued to walk back home in a foul ass mood because this blew my whole day. I don't know what pissed me off more. The fact that mystery girl embarrassed me in front of Will the crack head, or that fact that Will was right and no matter what whether good or bad thoughts, mystery girl was on my mind.
