Sebastian Stan, 35, and Evelyn-Mae Abreo, 30, have had fans questioning if they were together or not these past few months. But has Stan just confirmed the rumours?
The pair first met earlier this year when Abreo's close friend Tom Holland, Stan's co-star on the Marvel movies, brought her along to a meal with the MCU cast while they were in England. But this wasn't the first time the pair had seen each other as Abreo had tweeted previously about a 'mysterious man' who had a 'gorgeous face'. This mystery man was also mentioned by Abreo's close friend Julia Webb; she pointed out how Abreo should've 'got his number'. It was then confirmed in a tweet by Webb that Evelyn did not get the man's number. Later Stan got tagged in her comment section on an Instagram picture, by fellow cast member Chris Evans, he replied with how he 'had seen her before'. This confirmed that the man Abreo was talking about was Stan.
Then after meeting Stan started to leave flirty comments on Abreo's posts. This had fans thinking that they were going to begin dating but this was quickly shut down when Abreo went on a blind date, it was not with Sebastian. Which didn't work the first time as she was left at the restaurant with her date not even showing. Yikes!
Fans were then quick to notice that when Abreo was in France with her now ex-boyfriend, Mathéo Rodriguez, they were spending less time with each other and were spotted apart on multiple occasions. Abreo had met Rodriguez through another blind date which was successful.
The pair then started to show their flirting more on their social media's when Abreo went to visit the MCU cast when they arrived in France for a press tour promoting their new movie 'The Avengers; Infinity War' where Stan plays the character Sergeant James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes, also known as The Winter Soldier, best known to fans as Bucky Barnes.
While there Abreo posted a photo which included Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner and Chris Evans. In the comment section of this image Stan is quick to comment 'you show off everyone else but yourself, i really do question you sometimes x' this then caused a fan to question what the meaning of this was where he then commented 'at this event evelyn-mae wore a stunning dress and hasn't taken any pictures in it to show you guys, but she should'. Moments after he commented this he then posted on his own Instagram an image of Abreo wearing a beautiful white dress while covering her eyes from the sun where he captioned it 'hey S, i think it's a bit bright out here'. This then made fans think they were official but not wanting to tell the public yet.
Although at this time she was still 'dating' Mathéo Rodriguez, it is unclear whether they were still together during this time.
Later on in the month, Abreo held a ball, where she invited some of her close friends and some of the MCU cast attended, this included Stan. Inside sources claim that Stan and Abreo were 'all over each other' and that they 'never left each other's side'. Comments made on Stan's Instagram post from that night may indicate that this source was correct. With a specific comment made by Stan's co-star Elizabeth Olsen 'seb i've never seen you smile so much.' Was she talking about the way he looked at Abreo?
But did Stan cause some drama between Rodriguez and Abreo? Other comments on the image tell us that he could've had a fight with Abreo's now ex-boyfriend. Rodriguez commented about how it was 'a shame' he had to leave early and how it 'would've been fun at that after party'. This comment seemed normal but once Stan replied it changed the whole meaning. Stan then commented asking about Rodriguez's eye hinting that he had been in some sort of accident where he may have got hurt.
After the ball, Abreo then went back to America where she celebrated her 30th birthday; now, there is a 5-year age gap between the two. Many of her close friends shared throw back images and Stan posted an image of Abreo sitting holding a cup of coffee in sunglasses and a coat. The caption read 'happy birthday to this beautiful human, I will see you soon with a delivery of your favourite flowers🤍xx'. We honestly find this super adorable and we are big shippers of #sevelyn. Where can we find someone to deliver our favourite flowers on our birthday?
The pair have recently been spotted walking around LA hand in hand and looking around small flower stores, which we know is Evelyn's favourite thing to do. Abreo has been very quiet on her Instagram which was unusual as she normally posts weekly but nothing has been put up since her birthday. Is she taking a break from social media to focus on her relationship?
The couple are yet to confirm if they are actually together. But if they are together we hope to see the adorable Instagram pictures over the two accounts.
