"Oh, did I wake you up? My bad.." you heard a familiar voice— Tsukishima?

You paused for a moment, thinking of what to say. Nothing came to you.

"..Why are you calling me?"

"Wow. I can't call you now? What a shame," he had a sad tone, but you knew it was pure sarcasm.

"Shut up, what do you want?"

"I just wanted to talk, nothing serious."

"About what— actually I don't care. I'm hanging up now. Bye."

You went to hang up but he spoke before you could do so.

"—Wait. Are you free tonight?"

You hesitated, "Um.. yes? Why?"

"Come over," he said this immediately after you finished replying it him.

"What— No. Dude, you have a girlfriend that's weird."

"No it's not. We're friends. Let's just hang out like.. old times."

You held your breath.. old times..

"..I'll think about it."

"Okay, just let me know by... 7," he sighed and you both hung up.

You rolled onto your back and stared up at the ceilings, hands covering your blushing face. Why did he make you feel this way? A taken fucking man.
