Skulduggery's POV:
I was making tea (for Valkyrie) when I heard a loud bang, then...
" Skul, SKULDUGGERY! HELP! I'M TRAPPED. Help me!" I dashed up the stairs taking them two at a time.
"Valkyrie,Valkyrie! VALKYRIE!" I shouted, frantically trying to open the door. I ended up knocking it off its hinges, to find the closer with its doors open on the floor.
"Skulduggery please hurry!" I heard coming from inside the wardrobe. "Skulduggery please."
"I'm here" I called heaving at the huge thing.
"Skulduggery the walls are closing in"
"Keep calm" I told her.
"Skulduggery, I'm going to pass out" she said hyperventilating.
"I'm working on it. Stay with me" I said having found a corner and started to lift.
"Skulduggery I'm passing out, Help me" she said then all the breathing stopped. I used the air to buffet the closet back up to its original position. I looked to where Valkyrie she should've been only to be left with her phone and a note pinned to the wooden floor by knife. It read:
Skulduggery,
So you found me.....or not.
It was very good, wasn't it.
Sorry you were too late.

I read it over confused. I looked at the open window and cursed. Sprinting to the Bentley I thought of where she might go. Gordons, Ghastly's which was currently abandoned and Tanith's house. I decided to check Ghastly's Taylor shop first. I started driving and when I got onto the main road, I floored it.
