After Cassandra's vision, Valkyrie wonders about it in France before her first mission as a DeadMan. Skulduggery been acting strange since then, she wants to know why. Only one to find out. Don't read if you haven't read LSODM. Valduggery. Oneshot.

I don't own any of the characters I am simply just a fan . Derek landy owns these characters and I do not own the art work either . this fan fiction is about the dead men moving in with Valkyrie . moments of valduggery and some Ganith . Ravel never betrayed in this fan fiction .

After finding a nearly dead Valkyrie in her own home, stabbed by her reflection and her subconcious, Darquesse, Skulduggery and Valkyrie are on a quest to stop them both before they kill millions. The mortals are getting suspicious as more and more people are brutally murdered. Valduggery and Ghanith included!!! BTW Valkyrie is about 18 in this.

But with the Dead Men finding out about their true identities, Skulduggery and Valkyrie are finding it difficult to keep ahold on their demons, and make sure they use their rage for good.

The dark haired girl paced before the familiar face in front of her, her eyes wicked and licked with shadow and her hands gripped tightly to the weapon she held, "Why does a moth fly directly into the flame? Perhaps its captivated by the beauty to be found in such pure recreation?" Her eyes remained locked on those of the ones before her, smile dancing in the flames around, "Or perhaps, it flies so surely into its own death because it believes the flames of rebirth will allow it a second chance at metamorphosis and perhaps that this time... It will appear a butterfly. Perhaps this is the only thing It can force itself to believe, while it burns." She gave a cocky smile, and lifted her gun to the familiar face. "So, Miss Armageddon. Tell me my answer. Why are you not dead?" The girl smiled and brushed a loose strand of hair from her eyes, looking up from the ground and tilting her head and lifting her gun from her side, "Because I am no moth. I am a butterfly." And the shot rang.

This is my first fanfic, it is a valduggery fanfic and is bound to be rubbish. I apologise for any incorrect spellings, let me know what you think In the comments :) it will be revolving around Val and skul and some of it wouldn't have happened in the actual books.
