James was being weird. I mean a lot more weird than normal. He was usually quite cheeky but this morning he seemed to be full of himself.
"So are we gaming later? Could always grab a Maccies and take it back to mine to play," I suggested, trying to make conversation.
"Hey! Take me back to yours, eh? What dya want to 'ave your evil way with me or something?" he said, in a much louder voice than usual, winking at Callum as he spoke.
Callum looked at me and shrugged.
"What's got into you, dude?" I murmured, trying to bring the volume down generally, especially as we were in a study room.
"Nothing, mate. Just jesting. You know me!"
Callum stepped in. "We do know you. Only too well. And right now you're acting like the cat who got the cream. So what's going down?"
"Yeh. Share what you know."

James pretended to return to reading his science book. "There's nothing to see here."

"I'll be up for gaming after school," Callum said as he walked out of the room.
"Cool. Meet me at the end of your street at 5?"
"Sure."

James looked up curiously. "Err, what about me?"
"What about you, Mr Secret Agent?" I said snappily, picking up my books and rushing out towards the canteen.

Turning back on myself, I passed the window of the study room and could just about make out the text on James' screen. It had literally just flashed up as I went past. It simply read:
That's what the back row of a cinema is for :)
With several love hearts following it, I was certain it was from a girl. But which girl?

I immediately texted Callum: It's something to do with a girl.
He texted straight back: Keep me updated.
Me: Have you seen him with someone?
Callum: Not really. But if anyone knows, Izi will. I'll ask.
