[FYI this will be what V looks like, yes Ik this is very cartoony-ish, I cannot do realism to save my soul, so bear with me. The reason why I held off for 7 chapters not describing V is because I kinda was going for the [insert yourself as V] type of story, and then I kinda changed my mind, sorry.]

================================
V's POV

Blackness. Emptiness. A void. I didn't feel anything, nothing at all. I saw nothing. Was this the end? Suddenly, there was light. And then, the pain.

"FUCKKKKK," I screamed as 20,000 volts of pure electricity coarsed through my veins. Snapping open my eyes, I found myself chained to a metallic operating bed, Panam besides me as a ripperdoc turns off the electricity. I gasped for air as I broke free from the iron shackals.
"Fucking hell, YOU COULD'VE DONE ANYTHING ELSE?!"

"Cool yer heels, you're alive," the doc scoffed as he injected me with some drugs.
"You'll live, for now." I rubbed my face, whincing at my tender eyesocket.
"Gave you a new eye, your brain will get used to the new implant. Should take a few days for it to get back to normal."

"Is she alright," I heard Judy's voice crack, so did my heart.

"Judy," I groaned as I sat up, the world swinging and swaying in every possible direction. Panam grabbed me and held me steady as Judy wrapped her arms around me.

"I was so worried-"

"I'm alive, Juds. I'll survive," I coughed up a bit of blood.

"Not for much longer," the ripperdoc spoke up.
"Your unique condition is terminal. You will die, V. It's a matter of when."

"We can take you to Vik's, maybe he could help," Judy looked at me with sorrow in her eyes, but she wanted to be optimistic.

"Yeah.....," I replied monotonedly.
"Panam, mind taking us.....somewhere more private to talk?" Panam nodded and lead us to her tent, the entire way Judy was being my crutch.

"I gotta talk with Saul and the others. You two are welcomed to stay for as long as you need," Panam spoke softly.
"And, my apologizes for treating you so harsh earlier."

"You were just protecting your family. There's nothing to apologize for." She nodded and left us alone.

Judy's POV

V laid on the makeshift bed of blankets on the floor as I sat besides her. Her top half was wrapped in blood soaked bandages, scars and stitches marked her face and blood stained her hairtips. Her caramel brown skin becoming pale as she bounces between life and death, pale enough to see her veins. The implants glowed a sickly neon blue as her eyes fluttered.
