"BRAE'LYNN HURRY UP BEFORE YOU BE LATE FOR SCHOOL" her mother yelled.

Brae'lynn didn't want to go to school.

She was being bullied about her darkskin color.

"Mommy i don't want to go to school" she Whined.

"I don't care hurry up" her mother said.

"Honey if she doesn't want to go to school she shouldn't have to, you know she gets bullied" her father argued.

"Look brae I know you don't wanna got but you have to I told you that I'm gonna transfer you, you just gotta wait" her mom said.

Brae'lynn sighed.

"Okay mommy" she said.

Brae'lynn grabbed her fruit snacks off the table and headed out the door.

"Wait you forget your book bag" her oldest brother Kahlil said.

"Oh thank you" Brae'lynn said while grabbing her book bag.

She gave her brother and father a kiss before leaving the house and going to the car.

As she sat in the back seat as her mother was putting her 2 year old sister Brielle in her car seat.

"Mommy are you taking her to daycare" Brae'lynn asked.

"Yeah" her mom replied while driving off.

"Bye brae'lynn I love you" her mom said while giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you mommy" brae'lynn replied.

Brae'lynn leaned over and gave Brielle a kiss too.

As she walked in the school building she felt an immense amount of anxiety.

"Well hello there Ms brae'lynn" her teacher said.

She looked up and saw it was her favorite teacher Mrs Taylor.

"Hi Mrs Taylor" she said.

"OKAY EVERYONE SINGEL FILE LINE" Mrs Taylor said.

All the kids lined up and walked to the classroom.

"Darkie" one of the kids whispered in her ear.

She didn't say anything she just kept walking to her class.

"Okay class if you finished your work from yesterday than you have free time but if you didn't work on that" Mrs Taylor instructed.

"Does anyone have any questions?" Mrs Taylor asked.

One kid raised his hand.

"I want to know why Brae'lynn is so dark"

The whole class started to giggle.

"EXCUSE ME THAT IS RUDE, WE DO NOT SAY THINGS LIKE THAT" Mrs Taylor yelled.

"Brae'lynn sweetie are you ok" Mrs Taylor asked.

Brae'lynn nodded her head.

"C-can I use the bathroom please" she stuttered.

"Of course" Mrs Taylor said.

Brae'lynn ran to the bathroom and broke down crying.

This was gonna be a long day.

"Heyyy mommy where's Brielle?" She asked.

"She at home with dad and Kahlil. Her mother said.

"But I have a surprise for you" her mother said.

"What is it" she asked while chewing on her fruit snacks.

"Its at home you have to wait" her mom said.

Brae'lynn was excited.

40 minutes later....

"Okay cover your eye's" her mom said.

Brae'lynn but her hands over her eyes.

"Okay open them in 3...2...1..."

"SURPRISE"EVERYONE YELLED

Brae'lynn looked up and saw her oldest sister Kamari.

"MARIIIIIII" brae'lynn said while running to her sister.

Kamari was in the army so she didn't get to see her family a lot.

"I missed you" Brae'lynn said.

"I've missed you too" Kamari said while laughing.

Brae'lynn loved her big sister.

She had pretty light skin and brae'lynn wanted to be like her.

The family ate and talked with Kamari and got ready for bed.

"Mommy can I stay up a little late tonight and make a fort" brae'lynn asked.

"No go to bed" her mother demanded.

"Just let her stay up its Friday, she'll be fine" her father said.

"Fine but don't be too loud and don't put your blankets over the lamp" her mom said.

Brae'lynn nodded and said goodnight to all her family members.

Even though her mom said not to she still put her blanket over the lamp because she wanted light in her fort.

After she fixed her fort she got up to use the bathroom.

As the finished up she heard a big woosh sound.

When she looked she saw that the light was burning her blanket.

She went to go put the fire but she tripped making the fire even bigger.

"MOMMMY" she yelled.

Her mother came out of her bedroom.

"BRAE'LYNN OH MY GOD" her mom screamed.

The fire was getting close to her siblings so her parents went in there.

But they didn't come out.

Brae'lynn heard her baby sister crying.

She tried to go the room but the fire was too hot and burned her arm.

"MOMMY,DAD" she yelled but no one responded.

Her sister Kamari came out of her room but was immediately burned.

"MARIII NOOO" SHE CRIED.

Brae'lynn couldn't leave through the door so she had no other choice.

She jumped out of her window from the 5th floor.

Everyone was pronounced dead

Except for Brae'lynn........
