New girl

It was the first day of school and I was nervous as hell. I mean like I'm not one who cares about other people opinions . It's just that I'm a new girl surrounded by a lot of strangers.
I woke up and went into the bathroom to do my hygiene thing. I took a 20 minute shower and got out and dried myself off . I lotioned up and went inside the closet to find something to wear.
I decided to wear a white shirt with Marilyn Monroe on it wearing a Miami Heat shirt. I put on a pair of cut up jeans and a pair of red sparkly Bobs. I flat ironed my hair bone straight and put on some jewelry . After I was done getting dressed I grabbed my phone, keys , and my book bag and headed down stairs.
I got a banana and a bottle of water . I decide to drive my Camaro today . I told the fam goodbye and headed out the door . I had a long day a head of me.

Quan's POV.

My name Quan and I hoop. I get money and I get hoes. My life is as simple as that. I ain't no dope dealer but I make dope dealer money.
I'm from Jackson but I don't want to stay here forever.
It's Monday and I had to get ready for school so I went and took a shower and did my thing . An hour later and I was ready . I got in my all black Range Rover and head to school. I stopped by McDonald's cause a Niggah was hungrier than a mf. If you know what I mean.

I got my meal and headed to school . I parked and head inside to my locker . When I walked I saw a couple thotties staring at me all freaky and shit . They disgust me but they brain be on point. I stood at my locker for a minute and started texting . I didn't have no one next to me in the other lockers but this morning I did .
I recognized this girl from somewhere but I didn't know where . She was fine ass hell and I had to get me some . Then I realized she was lil cutie from the bowling alley with a sexy accent.
" excuse me , you probably don't remember me but I'm Quan " I had game in all but shawty looked like she wasn't like these other thotties around here.
" yea I remember you but i don't have time to converse . I have to get to my first class on time since it's my first day" she said walking away.
I just felt like shawty was trying to dodge me but I asked " hey let me show you around . Maybe it will help and I can make up for what happened last time ." I said hoping she would say yes .
" I guess so " she said stopping to look at me.
" who you take first"
" Ms. Beander?"
" oh cool me too so come on. To give you a heads up she got a lot of animals in her class . Rats, snakes, guinea pigs and all . So don't be scared "
" I love animals so don't worry ."
I tried to lead shawty on with my smile and told her to come on .

We got to class just in the nick of time and the new girl decided to sit by me. I guess she starting to chill with a Niggah .

The first two blocks went by fast and now it was time for lunch . I was heading to the parking lot to get in my car when I say the new girl walking to her car.
" aye " I yelled out to her.
She looked and smiled . I walked towards her way and she said hi.
" wassup ? You want to go get something to eat with me uhhhhhh?" I thought about her name but I remembered she never told it to me .
" Kennedi but you can call me Kenny or Ken but sure. The thing is I rather ride in my own car."
" that's fine I just give you my number and text you the address of the place We going to be eating at . Is that fine ?"
She smiled and nodded her head yes. I think I was really getting to old girl. We exchanged number and hoped in our rides. Little Miss accent got a nice lil Camaro .
10 minutes later we arrived at our destination. I took her to this place called Griffins Fish House . Hopefully she would like it.
We got out the car at the same time and head inside.
We ordered our food and then headed back to school we had 30 minutes before we had to go to our next class block so I asked her if she wanted to eat with me in the walkway and talk . I was really trying to get to know this girl. She had a certain vibe that I liked about her and she was cool peoples . We went outside and got an empty table .
I asked her the normal stuff like where she from, how old is she, does she have any family , whats her favorite color, does she play any sports . You know the usual.
" uhh well I'm originally from New Orleans , Louisiana . I moved here about 2 weeks ago . Uhh I have my mother in my life my father just recently passed like 3 months ago . And I have younger twin siblings boy and girl. My favorite color is blue and I love to play basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball and oh yeah I run track. "
My eyes got buck when I heard her say all that other stuff. Girl was a true athlete. " I'm sorry to hear about your lost but damn girl you don't get tired . And I see you trying to coop my style with this basketball and favorite color blue . " I said laughing.
" nah nah son , yeen even at my level." She said laughing .
" oh really ? Game of 1 on 1 today after school."
" I wish I could but I gotta help my momma do something . "
" okay but I got you next time "
"Alright now your turn . Tell me about you."
" Well my name is Delquan. My favorite color is blue . I play basketball . I live with my mom and two brothers. I don't know who my father is he left my mom when I was 3 but I take care of my family. I'm not an emotional person and I'm very laid back."
" that's nice to know about you."
" yea one more question."
"Okay."
" are you single?"
" currently I am single. But what about you?"
" me too"
The bell rung and it was time for us to go back to class. We went our separate ways and I was happy the day was almost over .
