The New Girl

Chapter 3

It was Friday and the week went by hella fast just like this school year. I was a senior and had my life planned out from the jump. First I want to go to college to continue my education . Then I want to open up my own hair salon and clothing store. I had a great taste for fashion and always had my hair laid and it would fit my personality great. On my way rising to the top with the business i wanted to find a good man a have maybe 1 or 2 little kenns running around here and live life happily. But right now I was tending to making this bread so i headed to the trap house.

I arrive in bout 20 minutes and hop out the car. I walk in and as usual everybody working . I told this day 1 if I see they ass slacking ima bust cap in they ass. At first they didn't take me serious until I used 3 of em as examples . I guess they thought they were getting off easy with me being a girl and all but I wasn't going for that shit .

I head to my office and get to work. A few minutes later one of my best workers , my right hand in this business, ASAP walked in.
" I talk to your connection scooby and the shit is on point."
" oh fr?" I asked not surprised . I Knew scooby was the best connection out here.
Me and ASAP had a lil small talk about the business until it started to get awkward.
" I miss you KEN I really do." He said walking over to me.
" I miss you to but you know it's not going to work." I said looking away.
Me and ASAP use to date a while back until I found him cheating on me with one of the hoes of the school.
" but I love you "
" well I gotta go make some runs. I see YA later ASAP" I said quickly running out the room grabbing the keys to my Benz.
I got into the driver seat and sat their for a few seconds trying to get myself together. I pushed my hair out my face and started the car. I had placed To go and people to see . I had to get this money and show people not to mess with me .

A couple of hours later I was finish dropping by all my stops and was hungry . I wanted to go visit my grandma and I knew she had cooked something so I took that 20 minute drive across the bridge to her house.

20 minutes later I pulled up to this big brick house with two magnolia trees and a bush in the front yard. My MawMaw had a white Mercedes pulled in the driveway so I knew she was home. I walked in the house an I already had a key so I walked in .
" MawMaw Ollie, you home ." I say
" baby im in the kitchen."
Yes she cooking I thought to myself and ran to the kitchen.
" hey MawMaw , how you been." I said hugging her.
"Hey my baby, girl im just holding on and I missed you. I ain't see you in two weeks."
"Grandma I been at school and working and I'm going to start stopping by more often okay?"
" you better" she said hitting me with the towel.
" what you cooking?"
" my famous fried chicken, dirty rice and green beans."
" ohhh good . I'm hungry" i said rubbing my belly.
" you always eating like ya damn daddy. By the way how that bigHEAD ass niggah been"
I laughed a little" he been doing okay MawMaw. He got in trouble with my momma though"
" lord . I hope they stay together . She always made your daddy a better man"

Me and MawMaw talked about 30 minutes and ate too. Then there was a knock on the door interrupting our conversation. I went to go answer the door . I opened the door shock to see who it was..........
