Chapter 14

*sunday night*
"Who wants to play truth or dare?" Asked Seamus.

"Guys! We have a Charms test Tuesday! We all need to be studying!" Hermione said irritated.

"That is what tomorrow nights for,"Ron responded, laughing. Every one gave a little laugh, minus Hermione, "Just play for a few rounds. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee?" Finished Ron.

"Fine. Let's get going so I have time to review all of the charms we have ever learned!"

"Can you ever not be perfect?"

Hermione was shocked that he said that, because for Draco, the one that called her a Mudblood multiple times, had given her compliment, and CALLED HER PERFECT.

She blushed a little, and so did Draco. He quickly covered it up by saying,"Well smart wise. Your sort of smart. But I'm better. After all, I am a Pureblood. And your just a Mudblood."

Hermione's face turned bright red, but she quickly thought of something. Ron and Harry looked like they were gonna murder him. Ginny was fuming. Luna even looked mad. Neville's face was also red. Even Cho looked upset. But Annie was smirking, but inside so nobody could see. Hermione whispered, "Guys, I've got this."

Ron still had bright red ears, and all of them were still mad, but they sat back down to see what Hermione was going to do.

She walked up to him, pulled up her shirt sleeve, and showed where his aunt, Bellatrix had carved 'Mudblood' into her skin. She then pulled down her shirt so you could see the scar she got when Bellatrix had held her knife to kill her, which was a close call.

"Draco, I am a Mudblood."

"Hermione, don't call yourse--"

"You know what Ron? I am proud of it. I am a Muggleborn, and proud to be the top in my year without experience until I was 11. I work hard and try hard and if that is what a Mudblood is, a Muggleborn who has to work extra hard to succeed, then yes, I am a Mudblood. Your aunt carved it into my skin, but I am proud of being where I am considering I am a Muggleborn. And I beat you in all of our classes, and according to you, I am a Mudblood, so that's got to make you feel bad. Lucky I don't feel sorry for rude people like you."

"OOOOOOOHHHHH! BURNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!" Everyone screamed.

And Draco was as white as a sheet.
