Ginny flopped back onto her mattress.

"Help me, Hermione!"

"Relax. One day I was looking for some cotton swabs and I looked under the sink and saw a pregnancy test. It's nearly fool-proof. Just pee on the stick."

Ginny laughed, but nervously.

"Okay."

Ginny went into the bathroom, did what she needed to do, and came out.

The two minutes that seemed like the longest moments of their lives occurred next.

Hermione started doing jumping jacks while Ginny spun around in circles.

"That looks like fun!" Hermione exclaimed and started spinning in circles too.

"I'm assuming you mean the spinning not the pregnancy?" Ginny said, half serious and half joking.

They both spun in circles until they crashed into each other and fell onto the floor. They laughed until their sides hurt.

Then they both sat up and started talking about how spinning in circles was something they must have done when they were 7 years old, not 18.

"Ginny the test!" Hermione shouted. They had forgotten all about it.

"Oh no, oh no!" Ginny cried.

She walked over to the bathroom counter, where it laid resting in a paper towel. She unwrapped it, picked it up and closed her eyes. Ever so slowly, she opened up her eyes.

"It's positive."
