The day had reached to travel to Anthurius for the peace treaty signing. The morning started with dozens of maids preparing me for the departure. We will be spending two days in the kingdom as per tradition, the first day will be a day of politics and the treaty signing. A ball being held in celebration of the event on the second day, then we will leave the kingdom in mid-afternoon the next day. Seeing as of this moment I am the only royal with a dragon and wolf, both will be in attendance as extra security.

My younger sister makes herself busy by helping the maids prepare me for travel. Lucy is the only person I allow to touch my hair and makeup meaning she also will be in attendance. My hair was twisted into soft loose braids away from my face connecting with a loose fishtail braid behind my head which stopped about halfway down my hair, Lucy then placed my silver diadem onto my head. The diadem had been passed down in my family for centuries, it consisted of silver metal intertwining into a point on my forehead and wrapping around, there were also thin chains that looped through the metal and down my hair.

Lucy then proceeded with my makeup making it as natural as possible, while also creating the illusion of fox shaped eyes and accentuating my sharp features .

As for my outfit I wore a silver and navy blue dress, with a knife strapped to my thigh. Scalemail covered my left shoulder and arm, leaving my right shoulder in the navy blue material that flared down my arm and out at the elbow. The corset accentuated my hour glass figure and the dress flared at my waist. The cape that attached at my shoulder swooping down in a U shape showing off the open back that had diamonds chains following the curve of the cape; it flowed down past my feet leaving a long train. As for shoes I opted for silver heels that had diamond encrusted vines up the heel and onto the shoe itself.

The extravagant look may look over the top for some but for the Princess of the kingdom that tamed dragons centuries ago the look was fitting.

"You look beautiful your highness" Gwen said from behind me at the open door. I turned to see my future general in her Dragonsguard armor, her beautiful braided hair made her look as intimidating as the King himself.

"As do you milady." I smiled and approached her.

"Shall we be heading down to meet our parents?" She asked.

"Yes I have made them wait long enough. Accalia come." I called for the wolf to be by my side. I took Gwen's arm and we walked to greet our parents at the entrance of the castle. There our parents stood in discussion by their horses side, ready to travel. As we approached, my father gave me an approving look before mounting his horse whereas Gwen's mother flooded her with compliments and comparisons of herself when she was the same age.

"You remind me so much of myself when I was that age." Amora smiled. For as long as I could remember Amora had always been a strong presence in our lives taking on the role of being a mother to both of us when my mother could not, I have always admired how she was able to be both a supportive mother and a stong, deadly, and powerful General.

The two hugged each other while I approached Abeloth who had a saddle on top of him ready for me to mount.

"Abeloth, lower." I commanded the dragon. The beast lowered his large head and body allowing me to mount. Once on top of the dragon I take a hold of the reins, looking across the courtyard to see Gwen on top of her obsidian coloured dragon.

"Hey Gwen think I can beat you to the mountain?" I yelled across the courtyard. Our kingdom sat in a valley of snow covered mountains which just infused the magical feeling of the land.

"Your on, your Highness" She responded.

"3,.... 2,.....1" I yelled. With that we took off in a rush of air, being the only ones on dragons meant we were free to rush off as far as we liked until we got closer to enemy borders. The air wiped around me, chilling my skin the closer we got to the mountain. Leaning forward and dropping my heel we soared through the sky, this was the only time I truly felt free.
