𝐇𝐚𝐢𝐤𝐲𝐮𝐮!! 𝐎𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚-𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Slight angst, mostly fluff

Sugawara stared at his belly and thighs, dragging his fingertips across the smooth pale skin. Since Suga had stopped playing volleyball, his physical activity soon began to die out, and that was starting to show. Sugawara was beginning to get a little more pudgy around his lower belly and thighs. It was hard for Koshi to not feel self conscious when he was dating somebody who was at the gym almost every single morning, and was so well built. Sugawara felt so much envy over Daichis body, he had so much muscle and could eat as much as he wanted without gaining a pound, or at least that's what it seemed like.

Said boyfriend slid into the bathroom, walking behind suga, wrapping his arms around his waist. Daichi then proceeded to plant little kisses across sugas neck, "Hey," Sugawara was leaning into the touch, a hand moving to lay across Daichis hand, "How was work?" Suga asked this as Daichi let his head rest on Sugas shoulder ''Boring, long, what about your day? Why are you home so early?" Though it was only 5:00 pm, Sugawara never returned home until closer to 5:30 or 6:00. "I managed to get off earlier today," Koshi hadn't taken an eye off of his belly, staring at the reflection in the mirror. Daichi furrowed his eyebrows, sliding in between Suga and the bathroom counter, his hands going to the others hips, "Is everything alright?"

The question caused a frown, which Suga quickly erased, forcing a smile, "Im okay, don't worry," Though suga said he was feeling fine, it wasn't convincing enough for Daichi, who began to massage Sugas sides, "Baby..." Daichi whispered, letting his head tilt to the side, "Something is up, you're not the best liar," Sugawara nibbled on his bottom lip, before leaning forwards and planting a kiss on Daichis lips, "Shhh..Im okay, lets focus on dinner," This was an attempt to change the conversation that was clear enough for Daichi to see, him just shaking his head and rolling his eyes, "Fine, but i know something is up, and i'm going to figure out what it is," It was Sugas turn to roll his eyes, him making sure to make this action very dramatic, "There's nothing wrong, now i'm hungry let's figure out something for dinner,"

"You barely touched your dinner," Daichi sighed as he picked up Sugas' plate, staring at the half eaten pork curry rice on sugas plate. "Huh," Suga grabbed a napkin to wipe his mouth, "I guess i wasn't as hungry as i thought i was," Daichi had enough of this, Suga was upset about something and was hiding it from him, the thought was driving Daichi insane. He practically slammed Sugas plate into the sink, looking up at the other, his face showing obvious frustration, "Suga, what's wrong? And don't tell me it's nothing, because that isn't the truth! You never ever just stand in the mirror to admire yourself, and you seemed so off..you usually greeted me with a kiss and didn't, and now you're not eating!" Daichi took a breath "What's wrong?" Suga stood, stunned and in shock. He wasn't expecting the sudden outburst of concern, it was almost overwhelming, as if Suga were getting scolded. The man slouched, wrapping his arms around his belly, staring down at the kitchen table, "I am starting to gain weight," Suga spoke so softly he sounded so weak, Daichi barely heard what he had said. The words that came from Sugas mouth made Daichis heart drop to his stomach, Suga never once showed a concern in his figure, why now? Daichi was taking the assumption someone commented on his weight, but Suga didn't even look to be gaining weight? He looked the same to Daichi. This all came as a huge concern to Daichi, even if Suga had gained a little bit of weight, it's not like Daichi cared. As long as Suga was healthy, he didnt care what his body looked like. Daichi slowly walked over to his boyfriend, taking his hands in his own, "Suga..lets go upstairs, okay? We can talk more about this?" There was a sudden tone change in Daichis voice, it now being so gentle and kind, rather than frustrated, assertive. Suga gave a silent nod, gently squeezing Daichis hand as the two made their way up the stairs.
