A/n : So, even though I can't continue it anymore, I think I owe you all a summary of the whole story. And as also a way to thank you, I decided this was a good idea.
Anyone to adopt this story may either keep this storyline or change it from the latest chapter I published, or just take the idea of the story, idk.
Summary :
The latest chapter ended with Itachi being summoned to Sakura, the Hokage. He learned about the kidnap of Ino-Shika-Cho that even Sakura just learned from a letter that randomly came from the window, demanding the Hokage herself to come to a designated area, which is a cave somewhere in the forest. It was signed The White Ghost.
Itachi hurriedly shunshin-ed back to the Uchiha house to get his stuffs and was bombarded with questions from his niece and her teammates. He informed them of the kidnap and obviously, Team 7 tried to tag along. But as you all could guess, Itachi said No♥️ (sorry, had to do that lol) and left them.
One way or another, I'm not so sure about this part, they met Kakashi who carelessly took them along to that cave. And long story short, Urashiki and Sakura and them all were fighting, the former planning on eating her chakra and the later trying to free the kids.
Team 7 barged in and I imagine their convo like this :
"URASHIKI !" Boruto yelled as he ran into the cave. "GIVE US BACK OUR FRIENDS DATTEBASA !" (which, I believe, in other chapters, I didn't write dattebasa, but as Y'know as translated in English.)
Sarada scanned the dark cave with few light pouring from above with her sharingan and saw Ino-Shika-Cho. Inojin was so glad he was almost crying. Shikadai was red as Sasuke's favourite food. Cho-Cho's face was also red, but for different reasons : She would rather die than be saved by the Uchiha prodigy.
Itachi, noticing the three stubborn genins, immediately gave them command before they freestyle.
"You three, focus on saving your friends. All the others will concentrate on the White Ghost !"
They obeyed even though Boruto would very much like to take Urashiki head on.
The Osutsuki, however, did not care for the petty attacks against him. In an amused tone, he asked the Uzumaki, "How are you liking your new world ?"
"You- !" Boruto yelled and almost attacked but Itachi sent flocks (?) of crows and curtained the space between him and Urashiki.
And then, Team 7 went to Ino-Shika-Cho, who were planted into the rocks of the cave. Boruto pulled Shikadai out, Mitsuki, Inojin and Sarada, Cho-cho, just that the Akimichi spat at her that she could save herself.
"Why are you acting like this ?" A confused Sarada demanded. She couldn't believe her world's Cho-Cho and her differed this much.
"Why are you acting like this ?!" Cho-Cho demanded back instead. "You went to train with Konohamaru-sensei and you came back reformed ? Good ? You realized your mistake and you've regretted it now ?!" By the end of her cries, Sarada's face scrunched into both regret and pity.
Just what has this world's herself done to her own best friend ?
After a few seconds pause, "Yes." The Uchiha muttered, and it was enough to render Cho-Cho speechless.
"What ?"
"Yes. I'm so sorry. Tell me everything I've done to you and I'll make it up to you ! But to do that, we have to get out of this cave before this cave collapses on us !"
Cho-Cho stared at Sarada open mouthed.
"No time to gape." Shikadai said and he and Inojin pulled the Akimichi out of the ground.
A beam of chakra was shot near them, shaking the whole surroundings.
And all of them got out, thinking the cave collapsed on Urashiki and such. No one was severely injured or have gotten their chakra absorbed. The Osutsuki crushed the boulders on him and came out and Sakura and all of them hurriedly ran away for now, and got back to the village without being caught.
Okay, so. After this is a few Sarada and Cho-Cho friendship moments, the former playing her world's part. Cho-Cho was as sweet as her world's. It was just herself who was a rotten tomato.
Not so sure how I'd fill this part of the story but I think it's a few of family moments again. It gets harder for each member of Team 7 to leave. And Sakura talking to Menma and Sasuke about her growing doubts about what Urashiki said to Boruto, "Are you enjoying this world ?"
After this, Team Konohamaru who went to train came home. And confusion everywhere. Sakura and Cho-Cho were rather heartbroken, because Sarada was the same after all : Cold, rude, strong but alone. Boruto : Lazy, talented. Mitsuki : Monotone, doesn't talk much.
Both teams fought coz of dispute and in the end, with Talk no Jutsu, changed this world's Team 7. Then they explained everything.
Everyone (Akatsuki included too) banned tgt against Urashiki and somehow defeated him I guess. And they went back to their world. I have some thoughts about how their last conversation is but can't be sure. But surely, they're rather hesitant.
And back they came.
