The White Ghost and Puppets

Okay, first, I sincerely apologise for not updating the story for two weeks. I've been quite busy.

Warning : Some blood.

           The forest from which the greeneries of the Hidden Leaf started to stretch; the border between the Sand and the Leaf, was immensely damaged.

          "Fire Style : Fireball Jutsu !" One of the ANBU, Eagle masked, roared as fire rolled out from his mouth. The long armed puppet-like enemy, bandaged every part of its body save for its eyes, evaded the attack and soared up to the sky. From the palm of its hands, glowing light balls swirl to life and each was thrown to the ground, aiming for each individual.

"Wood Style : Wood Locking Wall !" Tenzou declared as he slammed the ground. Blocks of wood arose furiously and formed a strong dome shield, protecting everyone : Sakura, him and two ANBUs, Eagle and Wolf.

Wolf emerged from the inner shield with required hand signs. "Earth Style : Stone Pistol Jutsu !" Small stones shot out from his mouth with terrifying speed which enlarged after a few seconds.

One of the stones hit its target dead at the centre of its abdomen. The puppet flew and fell down along with it, dusts surrounding it as it hit the ground.

The shield that Tenzou made retreated to the ground and he dusted himself as he stood up, the fight now over. At least, that's what they thought. The puppet staggered up and stretched it's long arms out, palms aimed at the Hokage. And then fired.

The laser hit its two target, engulfing the whole area in blinding light.

"SHANAROO !" The chakra enhanced punch met the enemy from behind. All the dusts that flew around from the attack from the enemy were shoved away with the punch's force, immediately clearing the area and bending the nearby trees.

           Sakura panted and fell to one knee in front of the puppet's many pieces.

"Hokage-sama !" Tenzou and the two ANBU were by Sakura's side in an instant. She glanced at the clones which stood at their place and took the fire and saw them disappear in a puff of smoke.

"Don't worry." She panted. "I can heal myself. That danging White Ghost... I didn't think he could steal this much chakra from me."

"Well, as expected from the Hokage, whichever world it may be." The White Ghost's voice rang. All of them snapped their necks in front of them. Urashiki grinned. His whole body was transclusent.

"Earth Style : Stone Pistol Jutsu !" Wolf shot. But every stone flew through him.

"It's no use." Urashiki sneered. "I don't have a physical body... At least, not here. And thank you, Hokage, for your chakra. It's a shame I can only use it in this world. But whatever. Here-" He formed a hand sign and three portals appeared in mosaic pattern. "Some more puppets to play with."

          Three of the said puppet jumped out from each of the portal. The four tensed up.

"Now," The White Ghost said, "I shall take my leave."

And so he did. His body disappeared into thin air and the three puppets now stood in front of them.

Tenzou asked Eagle, "How long until backup comes ?"

"I don't know. It's been approximately an hour."

"What ? We've been fighting only a coupe of puppets for that long ?"

"I hate to say this, Tenzou-senpai." Wolf butted in, "But we're not in a very good situation."

"You think ?"
