Niall - Nah, he's outside on the patio

Harry - Would you mind checking on him. I accidentally sent him a message calling him 'baby' 🤦‍♂️

Niall gets up and walks towards the side door that leads to the patio and pool, grabbing a slice of left over pizza along the way. He walks towards where Louis is sitting. Louis eyes the Irish lad and takes a long drag on his cigarette, holding his breath for a few seconds and then slowly exhales the smoke.

Niall sits down next to the blue eyed boy. "Hey bub." He says smiling, taking a bite of the pizza.

"Hey Ni." Louis answers softly, eyes locked on his phone.

"What're you up to?" Niall asks, taking his own phone out of his jeans' pocket, placing it on the table.

"Nothing much. Just checking the comments on my post from earlier.

"Aaah, I saw the fans go crazy. They love the track." Niall says smiling cheerfully, but his smile soon disappears when Louis looks at him, new tears forming in his already red eyes. Niall shifts closer to the smaller boy, draping his arm around Louis' shoulder, pulling him closer. "Ah no bub, don't cry."

Louis says nothing, he just hands Niall his phone. Confused, Niall stares at the screen reading the comments and stops when he reads Harry's reply to HotHotLarry's comment. He places a kiss on Louis' head, rubbing his arm while doing so.

"Why is this so hard, Ni?" Louis asks through broken sobs. "Why can't he just stop?" He lets his head hang low, slowly shaking it from side to side. "He said it himself, he doesn't care anymore."

"Whoa bub, of course he cares." Niall is quick to answer. "Fuck, he really hates himself for posting that comment." Louis gets up to go inside, but Niall pulls him back down onto his lap. "Look at me bub." Louis looks down at his hands instead. "He would give anything to make this right, yeah?" Louis shrugs. "Why don't you give him the chance to prove it?"

Louis stares straight ahead of him for a few minutes before looking down to Niall's face. "What if I let him back in again, and it happens again? I don't think I could go through something like this again, Ni. It hurts too much." Louis shakes his head.

"Aaah bub, any relationship will have it's ups and downs. There is no recipe for the perfect relationship. Especially not one in the spotlight." Niall looks out over the pool. "I know what he did, was so fucking shitty. But he regrets doing it bub. He really does." Niall looks back up to Louis' face. "He misses you so much, he actually cried when I called him yesterday."

Louis rests his head on top of Niall's and sighs. "Why did I have to fall in love with him?"

"Because you two are meant for each other, there's no doubt in my mind about that." Niall answers and a small smile tugs at the corners of Louis' lips. "So what do you say? You wanna try and work things out with him?" Niall asks and pokes at Louis' side. When he gets no reply from the blue eyed boy, he starts tickling him. Louis starts giggling, squirming around on Niall's lap.
