Her arms flew themselves around my body and held on as if she was out of breath and I was oxygen.

And I couldn't be happier.

" You-you you're here."

"Yes, I am"

"Don't ever leave me again." She whispered, Poppy planted a kiss on my left cheek and for one

moment there, I was in heaven. She had changed over the year, her curly dark brown almost black

hair was now less bushy and framed her tanned face beautifully. Her once sweet, cute face now had

a more fierce, challenging look to it.

"James!" Our eyes disconnected and the moment was gone.

When I turned around I saw James and Grace in a tight embrace I knew was only meant to be

exchanged between two people who loved each other deeply. Grace's eyes screamed happinesses,

her chocolate brown hair danced around her shoulders as she held James as if she'd never let go.

James seemed glad to have Grace back, those two were almost like siblings. They were the light

when everything was dark.

I noticed one more person standing right behind Poppy. Her emerald green eyes that could pierce

through you, her flaming red hair that could enchant you and her fierce attitude that could tear you

apart.

Alex.

"forgotten about me have you?"Her voice mumbled, she had always had the talent to underestimate

people, including herself.

"As if I ever could, you'd kill me."

"Damn right I would" she said with a smirk on her face.

I stood with my arms wide open and put a cocky smile on.

"Now am I going to get a proper hug from you or do I have to wait another year?"

We hugged tightly but in a way only Alex could still make it seem casual.

Alex was like a sister to me, a partner in crime.

"You're okay?"

"Okay." she whispered.

"Seems, like the weirdos actually do have friends. I'm surprised honestly."

"Oh just shut up Tom!" Alex shouted.

"Class! Attention!" Everyone immediately went silent.

"I am delighted to introduce you to your new classmates!Boys, would you like to introduce

yourselves?"

All eyes were on us . Most of the girls stared at James in awe, the guys, they didn't seem too happy

to meet us.

James, as the confident prick he is stepped forward.

"Hey, I'm James Amoroso. I'm fifteen years old, a killer drummer and proud to say that I'm these

guys' best friend." I swear I just saw some girls fall head over heels for him.

"Hello, I'm Sam Aider. I'm also 15 years old and best friend to the rest of them."

Nothing. Everyone stared at me as if I were a total waste of their time. Well that went well.

"Alright since class is almost over, Miss Garcia, Miss Lively and Miss Guerrera, you can escort your

friends to the dining hall. Mister Mitchell and Mister Parker after dinner you will walk your new roommates to the boys dorm to get to know each other a bit."

"So, what have you three been up to the last year?" asked James as we walked to the dining hall.

"Not much really, we haven't socialised a lot." Answered Poppy.

"How come? I mean, come on, the guys were almost drooling as they looked at you guys."

Grace blushed and seemed a bit uncomfortable by the statement.

"They weren't, besides, it was way too boring without you two. And the people here already had

their cliques made." She said.

"How about you guys? Had fun in England?" Asked Alex.

"Well if your definition of fun is being made fun of, humiliated and being in detention with Madam

Rodgers all year. Than yeah we had a great year" I said with a smirk.

"Oh, come on it couldn't have been that bad. Madam Rodgers is actually quite nice. "said Poppy.

" That you were the teacher's pet doesn't mean all of us are."

"Am not! By the way, someone appreciating a teacher and being nice to them doesn't mean that

they're a 'teacher's pet'".

"That indeed does not make someone a teacher's pet, but trying to impress them and do

everything they say like a senseless little puppy, that makes a teacher's pet." Remarked Alex.

When we arrived to the dining hall, We encountered 5 tables, they reminded me a bit of Harry

Potter. But instead of by house, students were divided by year. As we were year 10's we joined the

third table from the left.

As soon as I set down between James and Grace, Alex and Poppy facing us, I heard an almost deep

voice yell

"Yo, newbies come sit with us!"

James was about to stand up from his seat when Grace tucked his shirt and eyeing him in an alarming

way. "Don't. They'll just find someway to humiliate you."

"Or, they'll try to befriend us 'cause we're just that cool." James said, grabbing my hand and dragging me over to what seemed like the cool kids' seats.
