On the morning of the ball, Louis arrived at the castle with his two younger sisters. They had all slept in the horse carriage while the coachman brought them safely to their destination.

They were shown to a room. He got his own while Charlotte and Felicity shared one. He immediately picked up his book and laid down on the bed to read, waiting for the ball. He hoped that the evening would go fast so he could go back home again. He wondered who this Prince Harry was that made such a spectacle to find a wife. Desperate much? Even if their Kingdoms laid close together he had never visited before. Or maybe he had when he was a child. He had always had his nose in a book so he wouldn't remember anyhow.

A maid knocked on his door at lunch and asked if he wanted to eat down in the dining hall but he declined and she promised to bring him a tray. She returned fifteen minutes later with some soup and bread and he ate by the window.

Outside was a lovely rose garden. The whole castle was grandiloquent, or at least what he had seen of it so far. He wondered what the people living in it were like? He hoped they treated the people fairly. There was nothing worse than a King and Queen that we're all about money and power. He realized that he might have to start showing some interest in the world around him, especially if he was going to be King one day.

He got up with a sigh. It was time to get ready for that stupid ball. He poured some water into the bowl and found a cloth and some soap. He took off his shirt and started to clean himself. The water was cold so he hurried up. He had taken a bath yesterday so he just needed to freshen up.

He combed his hair and pushed it to the side before he made sure that he smelled nice. He got rid of his trousers as well and changed his underwear before he put in the clothes that Niall had picked out for him to wear. He must hand it to him. Niall had excellent taste.

He took one last look in the mirror before he headed over to the room next door to see how his sisters were doing. He stepped into an absolute chaos. Clothes were flying everywhere.
"Great! Louis! Which one should l wear?" Charlotte asked and held out two dresses that looked the same in Louis's eyes.

"How the hell should I know? Just pick one." Louis chuckled.

"This is the most important decision of my life!" Charlotte whined.

"It's just a ball, Lottie. You've attended millions." Louis smirked.

"Oh, come on! Prince Harry is absolutely stunning. Anyone will be lucky to have him and I would like to be that one." Charlotte answered.

Louis looked confused.
"How do you know that?"

"Seriously Louis. If you would socialize you would have visited before with the rest of us. You're missing out on so much when you hide behind your books." Charlotte said, looking concerned.

Louis just shrugged his shoulders in response.
