Louis had gone straight to his bedroom as soon as they arrived back home and hadn't emerged from it since. The first day he had just been moping around, feeling sad. He has cried and cursed at the world, or mostly Harry's father. On the second day, he felt angry and ashamed. They hadn't even done anything. They just danced.

He looked out the window and furrowed his eyebrows. Two men came riding into the castle. They weren't expecting company. Not to his knowledge at least, but he was usually kind of out of the loop, too consumed in his books. He decided to check out their new arrivals and jumped off his bed and headed downstairs. The rest of his family were gathering as well to greet their mysterious guest. Charlotte was the first one to react.
"Prince Harry! You came!"

Louis froze in place and stared a the two horsemen as they came closer. What was he doing here? Harry jumped off his horse and approached them.
"Hi, I'm Prince Harry. Your daughters invited me, I hope that's not inconvenient. I'm so sorry to show up unannounced." He said, addressing his word to the Queen and King.

"Of course not, welcome Prince Harry." Queen Johannah smiled with a side glance at her daughters.

Louis's heart dropped. His mum must be under the impression that Harry came to court one of his sisters after the ball. Unfair!

Queen Johannah played the perfect hostess and showed Harry to a room and made sure that his company had somewhere to stay as well. She left Harry with her children. Louis stayed in a corner, not knowing where to go. He refused to look up. He was confused. Why was Harry here?

Harry whispered something to Charlotte and Felicity and before Louis could react they had left the room and he was alone with Harry.
"Why are you here?" He asked and raised his eyes so he was looking at Harry.

"I couldn't leave things like that. I'm so, so sorry Louis. My father was out of line." Harry answered softly and took a step closer.

"That doesn't change anything." Louis muttered.

"I hope my presence will. You were right, we don't know each other yet but I'm hoping for the chance to get to know you." Harry replied in a hopeful voice.

"Why? We're completely different people Harry. I have no people skills. I'm awkward and introverted and..." Louis rambled.

"And opposites attract." Harry interrupted.

Louis can't help but smile.
"Yeah?"

"Yeah, so? Wanna give me a chance? I'm a pretty nice guy." Harry giggled.

Louis couldn't resist anymore. He closed the distance between them and crashed their lips together, taking Harry by surprise. It didn't take him long to respond though. As soon as the initial shock had faded away he wrapped his arms around Louis's neck and kissed him back.

Louis's head was spinning. He was panicking and loving it at the same time. He was in shock over his own blunt action. He never thought that he would take the initiative like this, and that the person of his desires would be another man who actually kissed him back was absolutely mindblowing. When they had to come up for air Louis smiled.
"I would love to get to know you better."
