Chapter Nine

Blossom's POV

I stared at Ken sleeping body. SOmething seems dark about him, I looked at his necklace, the only thing showing lightness. I sighed and Bubbles and Buttercup was asleep, and rick, Boomer and Butch went out to the beach. I stood up and walked back in the cave, just wanting to find something to do.

As I walked back farther, the cave went darker. Not the usaul dark, but an eerie kind. I walked slower and the wind blew, then a dark figure appeared right infront of me. I jumped and Lucifier was standing infront of me.

"I think it's funny how you know so much, yet so little." He said as he leaned on the cave wall.

"What do you want?" I snapped at him.

"Woah, let's just calm down. Besides I can get your wings back." 

"I don't care about my wings."

"But you care for Ken, and Bubbles along wih BUttercup."

"You can''t hurt them."

"Yes I can, Blossom you see they are demons and demons always listen to me."

"Then how come Mojo didn't, he had three half Angel kids."

"Mojo was an idiot. I mean you thinks like that." He said as he walked back and forth, than stop with a smirk. "I can keep them from harm, if you give me one thing."

"That is?" I asked him.

"Give me the necklace, that is around Ken's neck." 

"Why?"

"I need it."

"No you want it."

"Whatever, but I can keep you friends from getting harmed." He said as he appeared behind me. His cold breath down on my neck, I flinched and he chuckled.

"No, your gonna harm them." I said as I turned and he eaned agaisht the wall.

"Eh, I can stop myself from hurting them." 

"Why do you want Ken's necklace?"

"Cause, it hold's powers. Powers that stronger than anything you can imagine. So I need it, and I can stop Ken's Uncle from hurting him." He said as my eyes wided. He smirekd and held out his pale hand and I bit my lip.

"You'll stop him from hurting Ken?" I asked him.

"Yes, just shake my hand." He said as I put my hand in his.

"Blossom no!" I heard Bubbles yelled, I turned towards her and her eyes was wide open.

"Ken!" I heard Buttercup yelled, I turned towards Lucifier.

"You said you wouldn't hurt him." I said.

"That necklace, is his life force. Blossom he's like Brick but itsn't, he's half Demon and ghost. THe necklace was the only keeping him alive." He siad as the necklace appeared in his hand. I gasped and ran towards him. He disppeared, and I ran towards Ken. He was pale like bones. I grabbed his arm and his pusle was gone, Brick, Boomer and Butch ran in. I looked up at Brick, he frowned and Buttercup pushed me away. 

She made a gold ball, and put it to his chest. I bit my lip and Bubbles was looking down at the ground.

"Blossom, I know what your thinking and I saw it. We can't." SHe pleaded as I bit my lip and looked at her.

"Bubbles, I can't let him be like this!" I yelled at her.

"Blossom, I know you can't but please think before you do anything, please." She said as she walked away. "Buttercup, stop he needs that necklace, and we don't have it." Bubbles said as she turned back at us. SHe walked out of the cave and I followed her.
