(Y/N) POV:

Sally's hands let go of my hands and cupped my face. I laid my arms down on the mattress facing down so they aren't showing anymore.

"There nothing, it was a long time ago anyways." I said in reply to her question. I went to kiss her again but she pulled away and got off of my waist to sit next to me so I sat up and brought my knees up to my chest.

She rested her head on my shoulder and said "one would be nothing (y/n), there's a lot more than one on them."

Sally moved her head from my shoulder and sat back onto my waist , her back was supported my thighs. She grabbed my left hand and twisted it so she could see the scars, and with her free hand she traced over each scar she could see. She didn't miss a single one. I couldn't hold back the tears any longer, no one has ever done this to me before. No one had ever given this much attention to me in so long, no one has ever cared about me this much to even think of doing that. Once she finished she held my arm up to her face, I was confused at first but then realised what she was doing. Sally kissed my arm , from the top of my forearm down to my palm. She then did the same to my right arm. At this point I was an emotional wreck, mascara was running down my face and my eyeliner was smudged. The blonde was now in level with my face and cupped my face in her hands, stroking my cheeks with her thumbs.

"Thank you" I said while crying.

"Why are you thanking me ? You don't need to thank me."

"Because you showed my love. You showed me your kindness and I'm so grateful. I've never had anyone do that for me before."

I looked at sally and saw that she was crying too.

"Listen. we don't have to carry on , we could just talk if you wanted." Sally said to break the silence.

I couldn't bring myself to speak so I just shyly nodded instead. She said to me that I could have a shower at her place and she would go to my room and get some comfy clothes to change into and I agreed. She stroked my face one last time and got off of my lap to turn on the shower for me.

I got out of the shower and wrapped the towel she gave me around my body before walking out of her bathroom and entered her bedroom. I looked around for sally but she wasn't here, I guessed she wouldn't be much longer because my room wasn't that far from hers. In the meantime, I walked around her room to looks for anything which would tell me a bit about her. But nothing. So I picked up an open pack of cigarettes that I found on her table , took one out and lit it. I didn't want to sit on any of her furniture because I didn't want to get it wet so I opened the curtains and stood by the window , admiring the view of the whole city while putting the cigarette between my lips and taking a drag. It was about a few minutes before I heard the door open and turned around to see sally walk in with my favourite pair of pjs in her hand.

"How did you know?" I giggled as I put out the cigarette the threw it out of the window.

"How did I know what?" She said in a confused tone but still laughed.

"How did you know that they were my favourite pair of Pjs?" I joked and laughed even more.

"Ohh. Lucky guess i suppose," Sally said and winked which made me laugh even more "I'm glad to see you laughing, you look so pretty when you do."

I looked away , not wanting her to see my red cheeks. Once I felt my cheeks cool down I walked over to her and took the clothes out of her hand.

"Thank you sally." I said

"Stop thanking me, you say I so often that it will looses it's meaning."

I made my way back to the bathroom and locked the door behind me so I could get changed into the clothes and sort out the mascara marks running down my face. Once I was finished I used the towel to dry the water I left on the floor and headed out into the living room where I saw sally sat on an armchair with a lit cigarette in her hand. She was still so beautiful without trying. I took my hair out of the bun i put it in and parted it in the middle with my hands, still wanting to look good for sally even after the mess she saw me in. I watched sally for a bit longer , admiring her every move. Her hair was still perfectly crimped but her makeup was smudged, her lipstick no longer just covered her lips but the majority of her cheeks. She must of seen me watching her because she broke the silence.

"You know, some people find it creepy when others stare at them." She giggled while making eye contact with you.

"Shit, sorry. But it's hard not to when you're so stunning all the time." Sally just smirked at your compliment.

Sally got up from the armchair and put out her cigarette in the ashtray, she walked straight past you and into her bedroom where she jumped onto the bed. I didn't know what to do or if she wanted me to do anything so I just stood there, frozen.

"Are you going to stand there all night or what" the blonde said while patting a space on the bed next to her, inviting you to come and lay down with her but I still stood in the door way between her bedroom and her living room. I was staring into space , contemplating whether I should call it a night or join sally on her bed and potentially stay till the morning.
"Oh come over here silly. we can just talk, I'm not expecting you to do anything else."
And that was that. I jumped onto her bed and laid down next to her, she moved her head onto my chest and we both just laid there in comfortable silence until sally asked me small questions about little things my favourite colour and stuff. We talked for a while and she told me more about her because when we were at the bar it was all about me and I wanted to learn more about sally. She told me that she used to write songs and poetry before the person who she wrote for ( Patti smith ) fired her from the protect they were both working on. She was going to tell me more but cut herself off , not wanting to scare you away on the first night you met. I noticed the blonde tilted her head up to look at me , she looked like she had something important to say so I gave her my full attention.

"Why do you have them?" She said finally.

"Have what?" I answered, completely forgetting what happened before.

"The scars. On your arms." Sally's hand touched your cheek and started to move her thumb from
Left to right.

"I don't want to burden you with my problems though sally." She changed the position of her head from laying down on the side to it standing up on her chin, still resting on my chest.

"Don't be silly (y/n), you won't be a burden to me. Plus, I asked you so I'm willing to hear your story. Tell me everything. I like details." She whispered the last part.

"I want to tell you everything, I really do sally but I've only just met you. I just don't think it's the right time for me to share that with you." My heart was beating ,I was nervous about how she would react, I didn't know if she would understand or flip out but she just gave me a faint smile.

"It's okay (y/n) I understand completely, I wouldn't want to tell someone I just met either. It just means that we have more dates to come."

I grabbed each side of her face and caressed her skin with my thumbs. I moved my head closer to hers and pecked her on the lips to show her my appreciation. We went back to how we were laying before and stayed that way for a few more minutes. It was so peaceful. I had my fingers tangled in her frizzed up hair and played with it until she fell asleep. I thought it was best if I went back to my room because it was dark out and I still had to unpack the rest of my things. I got free from Sally's grasp , trying my best not to wake her up because she looked to calm. I looked around for my dress and cardigan , tiptoeing the whole time. I got to the door and was ready to leave.

"You're leaving?" I heard sally say , she sounded upset.

I turned around to see sally sitting up on her bed with tears in her chocolate brown eyes.

"I thought I should let you sleep , it's late. I was going to go back to my room and sleep," I walked back to meet sally on her bed and sat next to her, "why are you crying sally?"

"Because they always fucking leave. I thought you would be different (y/n)." The tears that were forming in her eyes began to drop down her pale cheek.

"I was only going back to my room, I'm not leaving you forever. I would never just leave you like that sally I promise." I said trying to calm her down. I offered to stay the night and she nodded her head. I put the clothes on the arm of the armchair and went back to lay with her. I engulfed her with my arms , her back to my chest, I was holding her close so she wouldn't feel abandoned anymore. It wasn't long until she fell asleep in my grasp and I followed on not long after.
