Red Hood and the Outlaws

Chapter Thirteen

Roy Harper had come a long way since his days as Green Arrow's sidekick. He fell out with Ollie, which led him to meeting Robin and Aqualad, and then the Weather Wizard popped up. They worked together and stopped him, and decided to become a team. 

Dick's school friend, Victor Stone, joined when he was caught in an explosion and his father saved his life with robotic parts. he made peace with his cyborg body and joined Speedy, Robin and Aqualad on the Teen Titans.

There was the time the four saved Beast Boy from a travelling circus, which turned out to be an underground fight club, which they took out with his help. Beast Boy joined the team afterwards, and didn't exactly get along well with Speedy.

When Trigon attacked Titans Tower and left his daughter Raven behind with them. Beast Boy fell for her almost immediately, nicknaming her 'mama'. The now six Teen Titans pushed back Trigon to his own world and Raven chose to stay with them.

The first loss on the team, Aqualad was forced to leave to defend Atlantis from Black Manta. He said his goodbyes to the team and left.

The time the five of them found an enormous alien battle, and the team figured out who was good and who was bad and defeated the bad aliens. The good alien kissed Robin and explained she was Koriand'r of Tamaran and Tamaraneans' kiss to learn languages. She asked for their help in taking back her planet from her evil sister Komand'r  They were successful, but she Koriand'r decided to stay with the Teen Titans and used the Earth name Kory Anders.

Beast Boy's and Speedy's constant arguments and disagreements finally came to ahead when Speedy revealed he too had a crush on Raven but didn't tell anyone. Beast Boy accused him of manipulating him and they got into a fight, which was broken up by Cyborg. Speedy calmed down but decided to leave the team and take a break from superhero-ing.

Roy's return to the team as Red Arrow and how his first experience back with the team was Starfire and Robin falling out and not talking to each other, which blew out of proportion during a battle with Cinderblock. Starfire attacked Robin, but was calmed down by Cyborg and Robin and Starfire confessed their feelings for each other and became a couple.

The new girl called Tara Markov, aka Terra, who immediately caught Beast Boy's attention which received jealousy from Raven, who secretly liked Beast Boy (but was really obvious). Terra turned out to be a double agent working for Deathstroke, who was working for Brother Blood. The whole team apart from Robin was captured and Robin decided to step up and become a hero called Nightwing and teamed up with Jericho, Deathstroke's son, to defeat Brother Blood and Deathstroke, ultimately leading to Terra sacrificing herself to save the team.

Kid Flash was a high-profile hero before joining the Teen Titans, but screwed up whilst on a mission with The Flash and was sent to join the team. At first, he hated it, but eventually learned to like it there.

When Red Arrow was kicked off the team, it was diverse, consisting of: Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, Kid Flash, Jericho and Artemis, Green Arrow's new sidekick who started dating Kid Flash.

A few months passed, and Arsenal had to deal with the loss of his best friend, Jason Todd, Green Arrow had lost contact with him to join Green Lantern and Black Canary on journeys across America, and he had an increasingly weakening relationship with the team. So he turned to drugs.

The way Red Arrow was booted off the team was that Nightwing and Green Arrow discovered him taking heroin, receiving a punch from Green Arrow and Nightwing taking a much more reserved approach, requesting Roy go to therapy.

Years passed and Roy recovered. Gren Arrow had profusely apologised for his actions but Roy told him he could forgive, but never forget. He came back to the superhero career as Arsenal, this time joining his long time best friend Jason Todd, who had been brought back from the dead.

Things in Roy's life had gotten more tough when he remembered his child with Cheshire, and as he got into drugs she moved away from him, along with their daughter. Even when Roy recovered and met back up with Cheshire, she didn't let him see his child, and a fight between the two ensued. Roy won and started living with his daughter, raising her in a flat with help from Artemis.

The next big event in Roy's life was when he set off with Starfire and Red Hood.

"Hello?" a voice echoed in front of Roy. "Helloooo?" He snapped back to reality when he saw Jason waving his hand in front of his face, trying to wake him up from his daydream.

"Oh, sorry." Roy said. "Just thinking."

"'Bout what?" Jason asked.

"What's it to you?" Roy joked.

"I'm trying to care for my friend!" Jason justified.

"I was kidding." Roy laughed.

"I...know. I was testing you." Jason said.

"Look, J." Roy looked at Jason seriously. "I know you're trying to be a better friend, but also...I was only affected by your making fun of me because I already wasn't in a good place. I succumbed to the Red Lantern so easily because I wanted to die. That isn't an exaggeration. Usually, I can laugh along with you when you make fun of me, because it's funny. But I couldn't handle it. Now I can. I'm better now. You can be nice, I just like to laugh at myself."

"That was like, five minutes long, I almost fell asleep." Jason yawned.

"Screw you, man." Roy chuckled. There was a long, awkward silence. "You're quiet, Kory."

"Hm? Yes. Thinking. Missing Dick." Kory whispered.

"Does he know?" Jason asked.

"Yes. But he said we will talk about it when we have finished our war against the Order of St Dumas." Kory sighed.

"Well maybe he still loves you." Roy suggested.

"Doubtful." Kory said. "He's fine with Harley Quinn."

"Stupid. Why Harley?!" Jason yelled, half serious half jokey. "I mean she's-" Jason was cut off by three, coloured, floating orbs in front of the three.

"Koriand'r, the ring has chosen you." Violet.

"Jason Todd, the ring has chosen you." Red.

"Roy Harper, the ring has chosen you." Blue.
