the summer it all changed

Last day of school

Marinette looked into Adriens emerald green eyes, she knew that this was the moment. He had fallen for her, everything was perfect. There was nothing more that she needed in life except for him. He put his hand on her cheek and leaned in, she went on her tip toes knowing her first kiss was about to happen. Their lips were less than an inch away, she could feel his warm breath about to touch her lips; he couldn't wait for her anymore and he finally...

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Mari woke up realizing it was a dream that would never come true. Unless she somehow confessed to him but she knew that would never happen.

Suddenly her phone started buzzing, it was Alya. 

"Hey Alya." Mari said while yawning and getting up out of her warm blanket, "Girl get your butt down here! You're late AGAIN." Mari checked the time, it was 9:40. "OH NO NOT TODAY" She quickly jumped out of her bed, quickly got dressed, and ran downstairs.

As she was running to school she kept seeing posters of Adrien. She wishes he loved her as much as she loved him, she wished she could just kiss him and never stop. She kept thinking before Tikki yelled "Marinette! Come on, we have to go!" Marinette jumped at the sound of Tikki's voice and continued running.

She finally got to school and ran into class, she was in a sweat from running so many blocks and everyone in class was staring at her, which didn't make her feel any better. She slowly started walking to her seat next to Alya.

"Hey Alya" Marinette said in a rather sleepy voice while rubbing her eyes. "So it's the last day of school! Why aren't you more excited?" Alya chuckled, she started taking out her books and putting them in front of her.  "I don't know. I'm not gonna be seeing Adrien a lot this summer so whats the point?" Marinette whined, she knew that wasn't the reason deep down but she didn't feel like facing anymore emotions today. "Come on girl! Your life shouldn't revolve around an oblivious boy." Alya teased, Mari looked in front of her and saw Adrien, for some reason she just couldn't resist him. 

"Alright class lets get started!" Mrs.Bustier begun while writing on the board.

"Okay so the test we will be taking today won't be hard it will-" Mid sentence Mrs.Bustier was interrupted by a voice down the hall. 

"Come out, come out wherever you are! Listen to my rhymes and my guitar! I am The Muze and I will make you snooze!" The akumatized villain sung, Marinette hated that she couldn't even get through a class without having to fight off a villain but as long as it protecting her friends, that's all she cared about.

The entire class ran out together except for Marinette and Adrien, they both went into bathrooms and transformed. 

~Time jump to after the villain is defeated~

"Bye bye little butterfly!" Ladybug exclaimed "M'lady? I need to talk to you!" Chat insisted. He pulled her to a closed alleyway and started sweating.

Chat pulled her to an alleyway and starting pacing around like a maniac, it was obvious that he was once again going to confess his feelings. Ladybug was tired of  rejecting him all the time, it made her feel bad for something that she couldn't control. She also didn't fully believe he loved her, she thought that he more or less liked the idea of her. 

"Ladybug I know you don't love me but I love you. And I don't care about that other boy! If he hasn't realized how amazing you are that's his fault! He's an idiot to not love you." Chat yelled,  Ladybug could see the sweat on his face and how much he was blushing. She already had a whole script in her mind of how to reject him, since she had done it so many times. 

Chat could tell how much his confessions hurt her but he need her to realize she loves him and doesn't know it yet, well at least that's what he thinks. 

She walked towards Chat and stared into his eyes, it felt as if it was only them in the world. He could tell the feeling was one sided though. "Chat. Don't do this to me. Don't make me feel bad please! You're an amazing partner and friend-"

After she said friend everything else was a blur to him. He just knew she rejected me. Again.

Mari laid on her bed later that night, frustrated at how Chat only saw things how he wanted to see them. He didn't care if his confessions hurt her. That's why she thought he didn't truly love her, I mean anyways how is it possible to fall in love with someone when you don'y even know what they look like? It seems impossible.

All of a sudden Mari heard footsteps on her roof  balcony.
