Why?

Author's Note: Hey guys! I am so so so sorry for the late chapter, I've been so busy with my social life and school work since I am finally going in my school's building 2 days instead of fully online. I feel really bad so I decided to release 2 chapters instead of 1! Thank you all for the support and I hope you enjoy these chapters! 

I transformed and leaped out the window, onto the roof of another house. From there I saw the baker's daughter on the roof staring at the stars, once again. 

 Marinette's POV

"I'm an idiot aren't I?" I cried out. I could see all the stars from my roof top, it reminded me of how small my problems were. Adrien Agreste confessed to me, ADRIEN AGRESTE. The boy who could make me feel better no matter what, the boy who I couldn't form sentence around, the boy I once loved. 

It's ironic isn't it? The boy I no longer love, now loves me. If, if only he had felt this way just a month earlier I wonder how things would've played out. I probably would've been crying from happiness but here I am sitting alone on my rooftop crying from confusion, anger, and frustration. 

Although I feel as lonely as ever I still feel like someone's watching me from afar. I felt my phone vibrate in the pocket of my jeans and checked it just to see 20 missed calls, one from each of my classmates except Alya called 3 times and Chloe twice (this should be good.). Along with 50 text messages from individual people, none from Adrien.

Why did I say no? Why did I say no? I wish I could answer myself.

And why?

Although I was in a deep state of thinking I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching me. 

I stoop up and opened the latch of my roof but suddenly felt a hand grab me and pull me off my feet, next thing I know I'm in the air.

I could feel the warmth of someone's arm wrapped around my waist, I look up to see Chat's red cheek's looking straight ahead. 1,000 thoughts started stirring in my head like a teapot's whistle going off when it's boiled. Where am I? Where are we going? Chat? Why's Chat doing this? What even is he doing?

"CHAT WHAT THE F-"

I then felt a cold ground beneath me, granted I was only wearing socks. I felt the cool wind blow against my face and sweep my pigtails to the front of my shoulders.

Chat put his index finger up to my lips and whispered a "shhh" sound, darting his eyes from me to the guards below us. I got a sudden realization that we were on top of the Eiffel Tower, once again.
