Accidental sleepover

I spent all of today questioning why Chat did what he did that night. Last night when I was dancing with Luka was he... jealous?

I mean he loves Ladybug (which is still technically me) but no way he would be jealous of the Marinette version of me! Maybe he was mad at me? But he didn't seem mad when we left the carnival so I don't think so... Oh god I need to get to sleep, its 11 pm and I'm hanging out with Alya tomorrow.

As I was about to fall asleep I heard taps on my window, do I even want to look? Of course once I did I saw that floppy blond hair and green eyes staring at me with the starry night sky behind him. I opened the window and felt the heat come into my air conditioned room, he came in and immediately started blabbering.

He started pacing around the room and saying "Marinette I'm so sorry about last night I would never want you to feel uncomfortable in any way, or make you feel like you would have to choose between you and Luka's relationship and our friendship-" When he said "friendship" it felt like glass shards in my heart, I was so angry but I couldn't explain why.  "Chat stop talking for a sec and listen! I'm not mad, just confused. Why would you not want me to be with Luka?" deep down I already knew the answer but I didn't want to admit it. 

~Chat's POV~

I don't know why I did it, it felt like something took over my body and I needed to do it. But I couldn't tell her that. "I don't know! Look, can we just go back to how things used to be?" I sat on her bed and she sat next to me. And unexpectedly she started crying on my shoulder, "Chat I'm just so confused, and I don't even know what I'm confused about!" She whispered. I can't believe I put her in this much pain, I would never want her to feel like that. Never. 

"Well sunshine, if you want you can always talk to me!" I grinned, that seemed to make her feel better. I got up and stood in front of her, "You know what? We should watch a movie! I know it's late but I'm not tired so once you're asleep I can turn it off and leave! Plus I'm sure it'll make you feel better" Once I said that she looked unsure, but finally croaked "yeah, that sounds nice!" she smiled and it made me feel so warm, I love her smile. 

We both laid in her bed and went over the covers since it was so hot, then she turned on The Princess and the Frog. "I've never seen this" the moment I said that it was as if she just saw someone die, "I LOVE THIS MOVIE! ITS MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME HOW HAVE YOU NOT SEEN IT?" she gasped, I just chucked and started the movie. She soon fell asleep, I kept feeling her getting closer to me until her back was on my chest, she was in a very deep sleep. I don't know what came over me but I put my army around her waist and just... dozed off.

~Mari's POV~

"Marinette? I'm coming up!" I slowly opened my eyes and felt the sun shine on my face, I felt so comforted and warm I just didn't know why. I checked my phone and it was 11:30,  was supposed to meet Alya 30 minutes ago that must be her downstairs! I was about to get up when I felt someone weighing me down, then I realized. Oh. my. god. I turned around and saw Chat next to me in bed, I started blushing like a maniac then heard Alya coming up the stairs and knew that if she saw this she would freak out and put it on the ladyblog, and that can not happen!

I moved his arm off my waist and took my pillow and him it over his face but still made sure he could breath, then I quickly covered him with the blanket. In the corner of my eye I saw Alya open the hatch, "Hey girl! Why are you still in bed? Woahhh are you okay? You're blushing SO much!" Alya giggled while walking towards the bed. Thank god my bed's high up "Oh yeah Alya I'm fine! Just slept in late" I gushed. Suddenly I felt the pillow under my arm start moving, oh no. Chat woke up and stretched his arms out, he had messy bedhead. It was kind of cu- nevermind. 

He just rubbed his eyes and scratched his head. Alya stood in shock, she couldn't even move. "M-Marinette and Chat N-Noir?" she blurted, her eyes were so wide that she looked like a statue. He suddenly opened his eyes and stared at Alya, that's when he realized he messed up. I was blushing so hard to the point that I was almost all red. "Alya I can explai-" "OH MY GOD MARINETTE AND CHAT FREAKING NOIR I CAN NOT BELIEVE MY EYES RIGHT NOW, OKAY SORRY FOR INTERRUPTING YOU GUYS GO BACK TO WHAT YOU WERE DOING-" She yelped while running back downstairs. I'm so f*cked.

I turned around and gave him the death stare, oh he was gonna pay for this. "WHAT HAPPENED TO 'I'M NOT TIRED  SO ONCE YOU'RE ASLEEP I CAN TURN IT OFF AND LEAVE'?!" He was still processing what had just happened and jumped out of bed, "Mari I am so sorry I just got tired and next thing you know I was asleep! You know what I'm just making it worse I should go." Chat ended while about to go up the door above my bed. It's not his fault, he must've just been tired. "No chat I'm sorry, it's both of our faults. But I'll see you later.. okay?" After I said that he seemed to feel better and left. Now I have to figure out what to do with Alya.
