It had been quite some time since my birthday party. Not sure why Clay hadn't texted me. Just because our letters were the same as each other's names' doesn't mean we are soulmates. Millions of people out there, it's just a coincidence. Well, he has to talk to me now, school is starting in thirty minutes. Our lockers were conveniently placed next to each other. We had planned this out before school started back when he talked to me. Now it's going to be awkward.

"Hey Clay," I said starting to put in the new combination. "Your schedule good this year?"

"I'm not gay," He gritted his teeth. It's been like this since the party. I wish they didn't ask him if he was.

"Dude we know, you say it all the time."

"Just leave me alone George."

He slammed his locker shut then basically stomped away. I noticed that Mr. Hendrickson saw us talking. He looked at me weirdly then pointed to where Clay went. I nodded, Mr. Hendrickson was the counselor. Clay talked to him a lot freshman year. I think he still needs to talk to him. I watched as Mr. H scurried after Clay. I turned to my locker to see Nick standing there.

"Oh Jesus Christ Nick you have me a heart attack," I said taking in a deep breath.

"That's the point shortie," he said rubbing my head.

"You are like an inch taller than I am, can't brag too much."

"Anyways meet me and the guys at our usual table in the cafeteria. We need to talk."

Nick noticed Karl walking by and ran up to him. I knew that something was going on between them. Just don't know when they'll admit it. I ventured off to my homeroom. All the stupid popular kids are in this class. You have got to be kidding me.

"Hey there Georgie!" Jay said ruffling my hair. He wrapped an arm around my shoulder.

"Don't call me that and stop touching me."

"Oh come on, you know I'm your best friend!"

I'll have to admit, Jay and I did have some history. It all started in sixth grade. Two socially awkward boys ran into each other while trying to get to class. Turns out that we were both going to math. We sat next to each other. Jay was nice and lots of girls like him. At that time I always thought he would hook me up with one.

It was the best year of my life. We did everything together, I mean everything. Sleepovers, late-night studying on facetime, played Minecraft until five am on the weekends, and just overall had the best time. Until summer came, Jay went away to New York. I didn't see him at all for a long time. So when I got to see him at school that August I was really really excited. I walked up to him ready to hear all about his summer adventures.

*flashback*

"Hey, Jay how is it going!?" I yelled running up to him.

"Woah, do I know you?" He asked. His voice had deepened a bit.

"Oh come on Jay, I know your kidding."

"No dude who even are you?"

"It's George, your best friend?"

"Oh, your that kid. Thanks, pal but I'm in the big leagues now. I made it with the cool kids. Now go run off with your other socially awkward kids. What are their names, Clay and Nick?"

*flashback over*

"Leave me alone," I mumbled slipping out of his grip to sit down.

Jay walked back to his seat looking at me. I was expecting a glare, but it was more of a hurt face. I didn't care if he was hurt, he hurt me first. I didn't have any of my friends in homeroom so I would be alone all year. Wonderful, another year alone just what I needed. As I waited for the morning bell to ring I examined my wrist. Wow, just wow, all of the letters and it has to be a C. Whoever assigns these really sucks. They played the morning news, welcome back bullshit. Nobody cares, can't we just go to class.

The first period was ok. I'm not sure why I chose math to be my first period. The teacher was decent, her name was Kacy Moored. She was this younger girl who most seniors had crushes on. For the most of class, the teacher just explained how she ran her classroom. Talking is allowed when doing work or when we have free time. She didn't mind if we had our phones, but if they became a problem the rules would change. Most teachers are like her. Once she finished with the rules we moved onto the first unit of math. I pulled out some paper to write notes down on. Boring as usual.

Lunchtime I walked to our table in the back of the room. I was pulled to the table quickly.

"Guys there is something up with Clay," Nick whispered moving closer to all of us.

"Yeah, no shit sherlock," Tommy said popping a chip into his mouth.

"You guys think he is gay?" Tubbo asked.

"Definitely," I said digging into my burger.

"He claims he isn't though," Bad said.

"Guys I've been through this phase, you trick yourself into thinking your not. So when someone asks it sets you off."

"Well that explains it," Zak said.

We ate lunch in silence for the rest of the period. No one really knew what to say. Clay would have quite h to e surprise when he comes out and we all say "we know."

The rest of the school day was boring as hell. Just the same stuff over and over again. Rules, supplies, then starting the first unit. Boring, boring, and boring. Let's hope I'll still be friends with them by the end of the year.

Ok so like I know this was short and not very funny. I had huge writers block with this. I used to have a passion for writing fan fics but I think it's burned out. I'm sorry that the updates are slow, I'm going to work on the time.
