Y/N POV
"Come on Y/N survivor is starting"Peter says jumping onto the couch.
"I'm coming"I say with a bag of popcorn and glass of wine.
I sit next to Peter cuddle up on the couch sharing a blanket. The entire right side of me is resting against Peter who is focused on the tv.
"Hello?" "Hello miss"
I snap out of my day dream and focus on my boss who's standing in front of me arms crossed.
"Oh.. I'm sorry I-"I managed to get out before being cut off.
"Are the samples finished testing"He said frowning at me.
"The samples yes uh"I start scrummaging through my papers looking for the results.
"The samples that I gave to you an hour ago." He says getting frustrated.
I panic searching for them until I see a familiar paper."There you go"I say handing him the results.
An unimpressed look is still on his face."It very important that we don't miss place these kind of things"
"I'm sorry Dr.Garcia it won't happen again"I say giving a smile through my embarrassment.
"I hope not"he says turning on his heel and walking back to his lab.
Once he's gone I put my head down on my desk and curse under my breath. 'Are you kidding me did that really just happen' I told myself quietly. I hear my lab doors open and I shoot my head up and start typing do make it look like I was being productive.
"Hey Y/N just here to tell you that Garcia is gonna need you to stay late tonight."Natalie said putting her charts down.
'Me and Peter were gonna have a movie night'
"Ok"I sigh"What are you still doing here I thought you and Dylan had reservations"
"He had to cancel but is making up by cooking tonight"Natalie says sitting down across from me at her office space. Her red curly hair pulled back in a ponytail and as she puts her glasses on.
Natalie and I share a decent size lab together which I'm thankful for because she keeps me company. We both know we can't make plans without them getting canceled. I guess it's part of the job.
I pull out my phone and text Peter.
'Garcia wants me to work a little later tonight. So I guess I'll see you in the morning. Good night babe I love you'
We worked for the next 2 hours and started our break.
"I was thinking we could order Indian food tonight"Natalie said clocking out for our break.
"Sounds good"I say right behind her.
We order our food online and eat in the break room. We were both tired so wasn't much talking while eating dinner.
"Any plans this weekend for you and Peter"Natalie says breaking the silence.
"Yes,that is if Garcia doesn't call me in"I say thinking of all the times Peter and I have tried to go out but got canceled due to my work.
"Ya me and Dylan are going to a concert next week and I'm definitely going now matter what" Natalie states using her fork as a pointer and showing how sassy shes being.
I give a small laugh"what concert are you guys going to?"
"Justin Bieber of course"Natalie says taking a bite of her food.
I laugh at the mention of Justin Bieber.
Natalie looks at me."What I'm been a fan since I was 13"Natalie laughs.
