Monster Battles

After long five hours of training Cerberus, Serena emerged from the tree facing the waterfall in her mortal disguise seeing Meg looking around. "Looking for me or another monster for Hades?" Said Serena. "I'd like your first option but I'm have to go to the river guardians cave that's apparently hidden around here." Said Meg. "Well I'll be right here since that pervert always ruins the harvest crops." Said Serena sitting on the ground near the water. "His tracks not far from here." Said Meg walking in the path. Serena watched the fish dancing around in the water as Fang nuzzled into her lap. She breathed in through her nose then blew a soft breeze towards the flowers near by making the yellow pollen fly up. Using her left hand to guide them into the sky in the direction where her mother's harvest should be. 'Are you alright, Persephone?' said Fang looking up at her. "Yeah im fine. Now what did you want to tell me?" said Serena. "Nothing so far. I just wanted to see you since Citis isnt back." said Fang scratching away a termite off behind his right ear. "He'll show soon. " said Serena rubbing his head. The two enjoyed their moment for a bit until a blood hurdling scream echoed where Serena last saw Meg. "That Centaurs doesnt catch a break. Should i paralyze him?" said Fang as Serena heard a shout in the sky. "No. But i think i heard Phil?" said Serena getting up. She looked at the hedges to spot Hercules, Pegasus, and Phil not seeing her but Meg falling to her knees as the blue skin man with the body of a horse grabbed her. "Not so fast two legs." said the monster. Serena was about summon her thorns but felt Fang tug on her dress. She looked down to see him pointing to Hercules marching over to them. Serena instead made the root of the tree behind her bend up for her to sit while creating a pomegranate appear next to her. Fang heard Pegasus and Phil coming her way and wemt up into the tree before seeing Hercules get up from the water."Persephone." said Phil standing next to her after Hercules grabbed a fish by mistake. "Phil. Peggy." said Serena earning a lick on the cheek from Pegasus. She winced as Hercules got punched again then hit his face into the stone. "Pegasus no." said Serena blocking him from joining in the fight. "He needs to do this on his own. Come kid. Use your head." said Phil as Pegasus neighed. Serena watched as Hercules fpught Nessus after placing Meg on the tree branch. She gor up and checked on her. "Some hero huh?" said Meg trying to dry her hair. "Training actually. But this is the first." said Serena. "Yeah no kidding. Is Wonderboy for real?" said Meg.

Serena didn't say anything then saw one of the nymphs gesturing her to follow. "I'll explain later about my baby brother. Kya needs me." said Serena turning into a mist going past Hercules riding Nessus. She followed the nymph to a dark parts of the woods and there stood the fates. Serena turned back looking at the three women crossing her arms waiting for something. "You are really starting to wear Hades patience you know." said Present. "Is this because of his interest in me or not telling him about Hercules being alive which we all know he'll figure it out in any minute." said Serena. "He'll deal with you later on that second one. We all knew you were a right choice to help Hades with his schemes." said Past. "Hey I didn't realize that he was using my plants to hurt Hercules. I honestly thought he was going to ingest them or something. You have seen him eat a bowl of live worms and poison martini." said Serena. "But you haven't stopped giving him the plants now did you?" sais Future. "Let me guess. You all want me to willingly to agree to marry my adopted uncle." said Serena. "You love him deep inside your nonbeating heart. Anyways we must get going and you'll be seeing Desiree again sooner or later." said Future before the fates disappeared. "Now what have my boys been telling me about you knowing jerkules?" said Hades voice behind her. "That i found him alive years ago then didnt tell you." said Serena looking at his death glare eyes. "Yes. Now can you understand that my plans have changed so i dont need you involved in it." said Hades. "You still cant stop him from fighting Hades. The Fates told you themselves." said Serena. "Wanna bet?" said Hades grinning as he grabbed her hand and teleported them to the gorge. "What are we doing here?"said Serena looking around. "Wait just a minute. Pain! Panic!" said Hades seeing the imps appear. "Yes Hades." They said in unison. "Tell Meg plans to destroy Hercules starts now." said Hades. "What about Persephone?" said Pain. "She's staying with me to watch everything. Now go!" said Hades. He later snapped his fingers for his smoke chains appear around Serena's wrists. She glared at him then blew out his flamed hair making him bald as Pain and Panic looked at her as if she was insane. Hades froze feeling his head looked at her for a minute before lighting his hair back as the the monster came out of its cave and fight against Hercules.

"So am i going to be held hostage every time you send a monster to kill Hercules?" said Serena leaning onto Hades chair. "Have you seen this before in your past life?" said Hades. "Don't forget that in my old world all of this was from a movie. So I don't have to tell you anything about what's going to happen next." said Serena pointing down to the monster throwing hercules into the air. It caught him in his mouth licking its lips before letting out a loud belch. Meg grabbed her throat in disgust as Serena tried not to feel sick herself looking around avoiding to see the rest of the fight then saw Kya on the cliff holding something in her hands. She glancing at Hades smoking happily making her smirk before letting very faint mist of left pollen creating a copy of herself and appeared next to her nymph friend. "This is from Apollo." Said Kya holding out the small box. "A Kalimba. I used to play this back at grandmother's home when I was little." Said Serena stroking the side of the instrument. "He is expecting you over in Olympus tonight." Said Kay. "I will go as long as Hades doesn't interrupt us again. Thank you." Said Serena. "Is it to much trouble to get of here seeing these creatures makes me nervous?" Said Kya rubbing her left arm while watching Hercules and Pegasus fight off the monster by slicing its many heads. Oh don't worry Hercules is smart enough to defeat this one." Said Serena waving her empty hand to teleport them to the falls. "There you are my flower. I have some dresses for you and Aphrodite will be here to make sure your evening and night is perfect." Said Demeter approaching them with a smile. "But I was planning to check on Hercules after his first battle." Said Serena as Kay left. "You can see him before Apollo rides to the sky. Now lets see you in those dresses." Said Demeter as the dresses appeared with a wave of her hand. "Why must you pair me with Apollo?" Said Serena holding an light green dress with the exposed back and cape sewn to the straps. "I want you to be happy and Apollo can't take his eyes off of you. I want what is best for you." Said Demeter as a pink beam shine on the water.

A curvy woman with blonde hair walked to the woman looking slightly annoyed. "Mortals don't realize the schedule we have. Now that the arrangement with Apollo is set. Is that what your wearing? I was think baby pink lighter for your taste." Said the woman. "Mother, Aphrodite. Can we deal with my date later? I need to see Hercules. Please."Said Serena. "Seriously Persephone? I had t- Never mind just go see him and we need to a private chat before Apollo picks you up." Said Aphrodite holding a baby blue dress reaching below the knees with a long tail calf length. "Got it and I pick that dress first. Love you." Said Serena teleporting to the city. "What are you and Persephone going to talk about?" Said Demeter looking at the goddess of love. "Trust me. I'm taking of care this before anyone else knows besides the Fates." Said Aphrodite. "It honestly can't be that bad. Right?" Said Demeter concerned. "We need to wait for now." Said Aphrodite. Serena arrived to the building where Hercules is and sees a huge crowd of people cheering and calling out to Hercules. She waved on her disguise and went around the crowd without being seen towards the back entrance. "You finally got the hang of being a hero. Now we need work on the training and what are you doing here?" Said Phil seeing her walk in the main room. "Checking on my little brother." Said Serena. "You should have seen me going against that thing." Said Hercules hugging her gently. "I would have but mother wanted me to see Apollo today. Judging by those people you did great. Zeus will be proud of your work." Said Serena. "Fighting monster can't be that hard." Said Hercules. "Don't get like that. It's more than just fighting monsters. There will be battles that everyone has to face with or without your godlike strength." Said Serena following him on the sofa like bench. "But you'll be there when I need you. Right?" Said Hercules. "I'll try to be there. Now what about you and Meg?" Said Serena in a teasing way. Hercules smiles rubbing his neck looking at her before putting his hands on his lap. "Where do I start?" Said Hercules. "Tell me everything." Said Serena looking at him.
