Engagement?!

Weeks have gone by as Serena has done her time avoiding Hades and his minions. Megara did her normal visits with her tasks being piled on her but used her free time in the falls or Serena's home to relax. "I never would've thought that Hercules would be this popular." Said Serena walking down the steps to the festival. "He has done many battles lately with the monsters thrown at his direction." Said Apollo holding her hand when she reached the last step. "All thanks to Hades." Said Serena quietly. "What was that?" Said Apollo looking at her. "Oh nothing. I suppose Zeus will be throwing a celebration when Hercules becomes a god." Said Serena. "Perhaps. But it'll take alot more than just fighting monsters." Said Apollo. "I know about the education in the mortal world. It can help improve him since Hercules is still a teen through all that muscle." Said Serena feeling eyes on her. She looked to see two children looking away quickly and watched a play of Hercules fighting a medusa creature. "Why dont we have a seat over there?" Said Apollo leading them to a gathering of people enjoying themselves on the grassy area. Serena faced forward following him as he held her hand gently and sat down in the ground stargazing as the music play in the background.

She took a deep inhale in through her nose and exhale out her mouth feeling relaxed for moment until the two boys from before rushed over to them. "Apollo. Hercules wants to talk to you." Said a darked haired boy with maroon toga. "Follow us and we'll take you to him." Said the brown haired boy with the mint green toga. "I'll be back in a moment." Said Apollo following the boys. Serena watched him leave around the building of one of the festival tents and a smell caught her attention. "What the " "Persephone! My Lady its your tree!" Said Jyna appearing beside Serena. "Oh sweet Hera." Said Serena looking to where Apollo left. She got up and lifted ths end of her dress to lift herself off the air like she weighed nothing. Jyna turned into leaves and flew to where the forest is with Serena following on her trail. They looked ahead to see smoke that Serena was familiar with and landed in front of the burned-out tree. "Hades did this didnt he?" Said Serena. "Yes and said this was a warning." Said Kya. Serena waved her left hand to regrow the burnt areas as someone was calling her name in a distance. "Persephone?!" Said Hercules running to her. "Hercules what doing here? I thought you were talking with Apollo." Said Serena after Hercules hugged her. "What are you talking about? I saw him chasing after Cerberus who had his chariot and told me to take you home. But you werent there so i followed the trail of smoke leading me here. What happened?" Said Hercules seeing half the tree and plants surrounding it burned. "Nothing to worry about Hercules. Im fine and I'll have this situation taken care of." Said Serena. "Are you sure?" Said Hercules looking at her. "Yes. Now go before Phil shows up to make you do more hero training or something?" Said Serena. "Alright. Oh before i forget i found this on your spot. Im guessing Apollo wanted to give this to you." Said Hercules taking out a small box from his back pocket hidden in his kelt. Serena took it and heard Pegasus neighing for Hercules along with Phil yelling. "Thanks for checking on me. I'll let you know whats going on." Said Serena. "I'll see you later then sis." Said Hercules going into the forest where Phil and Pegasus were. Serena smiled amd looked at the box in her hands and opened it. Shining in the moonlight was a twisted silver ring with a blue opal and diamonds. "So sweet." Said Serena placing on her left hand. She looked back and waved the vines to emerge from the ground growing over the rest of the tree.

After the vines stopped Serena went over to the entrance to the underworld. "Persephone. What brings you here?" Said Panic blocking her way to Hades throne room. "You and Pain know very well why im here." Said Serena walking around him. Pain appeared in front of the steps spreading his arms out with Panic doing the same. "Sorry we cant let you see him." Said Pain. Serena clenched her fist raising it to their eye level and blow red smoke in their face making them feel drowsy. "Is it bed tims already?" Said Panic falling on the steps with Pain in a dead sleep. Satisfied Serena went into the throne room seeing Hades with his back turned working on another plan. "Did you really have to set my tree on fire?" Said Serena walking towards him. "I was being serious about someone taking whats mine." Said Hades looking at her. He checked out her long light pink dress with one strap on the left shoulder and glanced at the ring. "Speaking of whats that your wearing there?" He says pointing to her left hand. "A ring that Hercules found when Apollo . . . left." Said Serena seeing the evil smirk on Hades face. "Oh so you thought the ring was from him. But look at it again." Said Hades snapping his fingers. Serena looked at the ring to see the ring turn from silver to black as the blue opal glowed a little like fire. Her eyes widened tried to pull it off but Hades glides behind her wrapping his arms around her waist putting his chin on her right shoulder. "Try all you want babe but thats never coming off unless i say so. Now officially my fiancé by accepting my gift." Said Hades. Serena turned around to push him away but didnt work. "Let me go. Apollo is going see the ring and will be coming after you." Said Serena. "Oh he's not going remember anything only that he already proposed." Said Hades. "But he didn't. You technically did." Said Serena. "Doesn't matter. I got my future queen and all i have to do is get rid of your baby brother." Said Hades holding her left hand up and spun her like they were dancing. "And you're going to be seeing me alot more often. So get used to it." He says dipping her. Serena blew red smoke from her mouth to Hades face making him fall asleep to the floor and left the underworld to the waterfalls.
