SUN TRICKLED INTO MY ROOM as I opened my eyes groggily. The sun was decently high in the sky and the sky was nice and clear, not a single cloud in the sky. Another day where the sun would scorch the earth of LA.

Sighing, I rolled over and looked at the alarm clock, which read 10:00am. I stared at it for a while, not sure if I really wanted to get up yet. Sighing, I decided it was probably time to get my lazy bum off the bed. I reached over to grasp my phone but there was a knock on the door.

" Yes?" I asked, my voice crackled with disuse. I cleared my throat and tired again. " Yes?"

" A certain band that you care very dearly for is streaming," said a gruff voice from the door. " They are doing Q&A, and I doubt you want to miss it."

I smiled softly to myself. Jax cared about me so much even if she pretended that she didn't. She was the lead singer in our band and the snarky one of the group. I had known her for ages, since it was originally me and her who started the band. She had taken me under her wing and we had started a band that we both were proud of. Josh had joined later, his talent had been awe inducing enough to induct him. He may not have been an orginal member but we cherished him dearly.

I was the songwriter of the group and the trombone player. I may not be the center of attention on the stage but that suited me just fine. Better for people to focus on someone else rather than me. Although that wasn't to say that people didn't pay attention to me. Josh and Ihad been a main source of gossip for the tabloids who were keeping up with the band.

Josh and I were dating, we had only started going steady recently. Initially we had tried to keep it a secret but eventually gave up when we found pictures of us holding hands and going out to dinner scattered across the entirety of the internet. So we had confirmed the tabloid suspicions and now we were a heavily shipped couple, which was surprising to me. Never in a million years would I have thought the public would be interested in my love life.
