I was thinking of doing a timeskip, but decided to do a couple more chapters in present time.
The Loud sisters were all in Lori's room for a last minute meeting. The girls were distraught over their brother in the storm...lost, hungry and afraid. All because they couldn't see any situation that didn't come from the former Sister Fight Protocol. At the time, they all thought it was working and just kept it going.
Two sisters fight...they do the protocol and then everything will be resolved. Only for gloss over the flaws that they didn't see or were too stubborn to.
They didn't see that they could use other areas of the house.
They didn't see how taxing having two dinners was for their family.
They also didn't see how it affected their brother and how unfair it was to him. They never even bothered to explain it to them for crying at loud and now their parents were trying to phone the police while Lisa kept trying to find the tracking chip that she installed inside him. Which they will discuss at another time.
"Okay. Let's start the meeting." Lori said.
"And talk about how we failed to protect Lincoln and caused him nothing, but pain for the last couple of years?" Lucy said.
"Sigh...Yes. We really blew everything when it comes to Lincoln." Lori said looking guilty.
"What do you mean? We never did...." Leni said before she was interrupted by some laughter from Luna.
"We did do bad things to Lincoln, Leni. Don't you see...instead of showing him support we endlessly teased and embarrassed him in front of all of his peers. Not to mention forcing him to do things that we wanted him to do." Luna said.
"Please name one incident..." Lynn started to say until Lucy started to speak again.
"The no such luck incident." Lucy said which made Lynn pause and stare at the floor in anger. This incident was hung over her head ever since they learned that Lincoln was never bad luck then she claimed. Not to mention forcing him to go in the first place which caused her sisters to shun her for a couple of months.
"We thought that we wouldn't speak about it anymore. Besides you know how sick we are of it." Luan said.
"Moving on. We need to talk about making things right with him." Lori said.
"Why?" Lana asked.
"Well if we don't make amends than he would think that we don't love him and hate us." Lori said.
"Hate us?" Lola said.
"Yes. With only Lily being spared due to her age." Lori said as the sisters imagined their brother leaving them all behind only saying goodbye to Lily.
"I don't want Linky to hate us." Leni cried.
"He won't as long as we make amends to him for everything that we've done." Lori said.
"And how are we going to do that? If you haven't noticed we barely spend time with him and try to make him date his friend." Luna said.
"We spend time..." Lola started to say until Luan finished.
"Outside of our hobbies and interests?" Luan asked.
"We go to the mall together and watch TV." Lola argued.
"Oh. The mall where we make him watch Lily and carry our bags or we keep watching our shows while Lincoln has to watch his with Clyde." Lucy said.
"This may be harder than we thought." Lynn said before the door opened and Lisa walked in.
"Lisa? Aren't you supposed to use the chip to find Lincoln?" Lori asked.
"About that...I'm afraid to inform you that he's no more to be found." Lisa said.
"What do you mean?" Leni asked.
"What I mean is Lincoln is somewhere outside the range of my tracers." Lisa said.
"Oh god. What are we going to do?" Lori said.
"We just have to wait for the storm to blow over and see if we can locate him on foot. Besides it's not like he left Royal Woods in this type of weather." Lisa said as she walked back to her room. The others nodded and tried to get some sleep...Lincoln is still in Royal Woods.
Everything is going to fine. Just fine.
I hope you enjoyed this chapter....Bye 👋
