Detective Jane Rizzoli suspended for accepting a bribe and Internal Affairs was all over this. She was interviewed and denied this made up evidence made towards her. Her entire team including her Captain backed her up.
Jane was ahead of her time before cameras were mandated for officers to wear. When she knew a bribe was coming, she recorded it and taped if if possible. She kept a list of all bribe attempts.
Jane was suspended with until Internal Affairs found enough evidence for the District Attorney to prosecute her. She knew either way, future promotions would be difficult to come by. She may have to follow through with her hobby of photography or painting after this was all over. She was innocent but her reputation would be tarnished and attorneys would always bring this case in any case she worked on.
