Louis and Liam entered their dorm. It was clean and well organised, thanks to Liam's presence. If it was Louis living alone in the dorm, you wouldn't wanna know how the dorm would look like. With Liam and his bossy nature, everything had to be kept clean and tidy, everything should be kept in place.

Liam rushed to the restroom and locked it behind him. Louis dropped his bag on his bed and sat on the other side to check his phone which kept buzzing throughout the drive back to their dorm. Who on Earth is missing me so much? Louis wondered. He pressed the power button to see:

Louis unlocked his phone as soon as he saw Lottie's name. The messages he saw from his oldest younger sister got him melting.

Hey Lou......... Miss you so bad big bro, mum made Yorkshire tea this morning and all I could think of was you. I know it's your favourite, so I drank two cups of tea this morning, just for you.

How was your day?? I hope you didn't doze off in French class, did you? Miss you boo, calling you tonight xx

He immediately typed out a message.

Hey Lots!!! Miss you too hun... Yorkshire tea? Hell, I miss it even more than you. Just joking babe, I miss you to the moon and back. My day, I don't know how to describe it. Lost a friend, made a new friend. Stan asked me out today?! I nearly lost it on him today. Anyhow, I think I'll just forget him as soon as possible.

Then I made a new friend. His name's Harry Styles, a newbie, in Liam's music class. Guess what, Liam has fallen in love. I'll tell you more about that when you call. I can't believe it Lottie, Liam and love.

I gotta go now, but I'll talk to you tonight.

He immediately closed Lottie's message and moved on to check Harry's message. This one didn't make him melt, but it made him feel something indescribable.

Now, guess what? Zayn told me something about Liam and I can't wait to tell you about it. I don't think I will be able to type it out, so I thought I should tell you tomorrow in Uni? Also, the thing we were speaking about when Zayn interrupted us? Where I was for an year? I'll tell you about that tomorrow. I was a little disappointed when Zayn interrupted us but, never mind. Hi Harry. I also didn't expect befriending you already but I'm glad I have you as a friend now. I hope I am good friend to you in the future : )

Zayn spoke about Liam to you? Wow. Here Liam has locked himself in the restroom, not yet come out. Can I call you tonight? Maybe we could speak about it after dinner? Also, about the topic which we were speaking about in Uni. Only if you want, that is. Otherwise, talk to you tomorrow in Uni :D xx

The response came as if Harry was waiting desperately for a reply.

Yes! A call was what I was thinking about, but I didn't think you would wanna talk to me over phone or something. Like, we barely know each other so I thought you wouldn't wanna. Great so I'll call you after dinner. xx

Louis smiled at himself. This boy was so... cute? Kind? Adorable? No, he's just being amiable so shut up. Louis told himself. Louis typed out a message.

I would love talking to you in person AND over phone Hazza, don't even doubt it : D. Talk to you tonight, bye! xx

Louis found himself smiling ear to ear when he shut his phone and kept it on the bedside table. Why did this boy, whom he knew for hardly a day, affect him so much? Nothing to think about, a new friend, that's all. You're just curious about a new friend, that's all. Don't overthink it. He told himself. His thoughts about Harry stopped when he saw Liam entering their room from the restroom after... 20 minutes.

"Li, are you alright? You spent 20 minutes in the washroom. Are you fine?" Louis asked, concerned. Liam looked up at Louis. Louis saw Liam's eyes were puffy and swollen. His cheeks were red. His lips were quivering. He was visibly shaking. His T-shirt was wet near the neck and his sleeves near his palms. He was holding a damp tissue.

"Liam? Why are you crying babe? Are you fine? Talk to me..." Louis tried again. Liam sniffled, "I- I- you shouldn't have left me al-lone wi-with Zay-Zayn Lou... I- I-" Louis hugged Liam tight. He started rubbing his back up and down to calm him down. He felt Liam crying hard on his shoulder. Louis said, "I'm so sorry Liam, I am so sorry for leaving you behind, alone, with Zayn. But what exactly happened Li? Did he say something? Did he do something?" Louis felt anger growing. If Zayn had done or said something to Liam that hurt him, he isn't the one who's gonna be forgiving him. How dare he!? Liam was a precious being and Louis would never let anyone do anything to Liam.

"Lou, he told me he- he told me he has a- he isn't a-" Liam started again, stuttering. "Okay Li, calm down. Speak only when you're all calm." Louis hadn't stopped hugging Liam yet, neither had Liam. They stayed in the same pose, with Louis tracing circles on Liam's back to soothe him.

Liam broke the hug, having calmed down. He looked at Louis and looking at those red eyes, Louis felt he himself would have a breakdown very soon. Liam blew his nose in the tissue. Louis went to the washroom to get another tissue. He gave it Liam, who was now sitting on his bed. Liam took the tissue, placed it on his lap and finally spoke.

"Zayn told me he isn't single. He has a boyfriend."

I cried while writing the last few paragraphs. Were they okie?
