Nobody knew what happened behind the closed doors. Nobody knew about the smile Y/N wore on her face once she left the house. Nobody really knew the truth expect the ones who were there when it was told.
They were in their apartment, arguing. It seemed like that's all they did in the past month, whether it was over silly things or something more serious - they just couldn't find the middle ground.
''Maybe this just isn't working anymore, Y/N.'' Harry's voice was filled with sadness.
''No! That's not the case, Harry. You just refuse to actually talk to me!''
''Y/N.. you know this was already planned. Months ago. I go there every year, okay?''
''You just came back home a few weeks ago and you already want to leave?'' Y/N felt herself getting weaker with each sentence, because she knew how this was going to end. And it wasn't going to be in her favour.
''It's not that I want to leave you, Y/N. They're my friends and they invited me to come along with them." The more Harry talked the more he tried to find excuses for his upcoming absence in the next month, just after coming home from a world tour. He was going on vacation with the Crawfords and Gerbers, it was simple, to him at least.
''So what? I am your girlfriend, Harry. We haven't seen each other properly for the past five months, because you were touring and I understand that, I do. In between those months I was busy too, but that wasn't a reason for me to say that this isn't working anymore, was it?'' Y/N was on the verge of crying now.
Containing a relationship when both of them were busy, was hard. The tight schedules would keep them away from each other for long periods of time, but it was never a problem to them. They met years back when Harry had just started the hiatus and when Y/N finished doing press tours for her new film. Later in the relationship when both of them got busy with projects of their own, Harry and Y/N always found time for each other, even when they were miles away. That's why their relationship lasted longer than three years. Was it hard? Hell yeah, would be Y/N's answer, but it was worth it because they had each other and that's all that mattered.
Even when their relationship was outed by sneaky paps that caught them one night drunkenly making out; even when both, mainly Y/N, received backlash from the public and the fans for being with each other - everything ended up good, it did not break them apart.
''Or is it maybe that you don't want this to work anymore? Is that what this is about, Harry?''
''You know that's not true. I want this, believe me baby. But all we do is argue and I'm just tired of it, you know...'' Harry hung his head low, mad at himself for even thinking of saying something like that, but he wanted to believe that it was the relationship that wasn't good.
