Emily's POV

I head towards yo Nicky's room as fast as I could, my mom is at work and so is Nicky's so I might have some alone time with Travis (by phone).

Nicky is still walking home with Laila which could take about 17 minutes so might not be interrogated by that kid.

I unpack and lay on the bed, finally can relax.

I take out my phone and look through the contacts, I finally find Travis after scrolling to the end of the contact list.

"Hey."
It takes a while for him to reply but he eventually does.

"Yo."
What should I say?

"So, how's it hanging?"
Okay, I'm safe.

"Okay I guess."
"Why I guess?"
"My mom is making me clean the house."
"Oh."

Poor Travis, wish I could help him.

"So about the thing about..the kiss.. And I just wanted to-"
"Wanted to what?"

It takes about 3 minutes for him to reply but yea.

"Apologize."

I smile at the comment, when I was about to text something, the door opened.

"What are you doing here?" Oh no, he's back
"Just, nothing."
I leave the apartment to go to Tara's.

Yes, I am aware that one of the annoying twats are there.

I knock 3 times and the door went open.
"Who are you?" This might be Tara and Laila's mom.

"A friend of Tara's." I answer back, she nods and let's me in, telling me to wait for her.

"Oh, hi Emily!" The little girl said.
"What do you want Laila?" I reply harshly.

"Is there something wrong with saying hi?" Yes, you're annoying the FUCK out of me!

I roll my eyes and enter their room.
It was quite messy and it had stains all over.

I then heard knocking so I went to the door, thinking it was Tara, instead, it was a small girl.

"Is Laila, her?" Laila then interrupts her and goes to her.
"Yup." I reply, she gives out a cute chuckle and stops when Laila whispers something into her ear, they both chuckle and look at me.

"Emily, this is Jodie. Jodie, this is Emily" Laila said in an excited expression.
"Nice to meet you." Jodie says, shaking my hand.

Tara then arrives and looks scared when she looks at me.

"I'm sorry." she says, sorry ain't going to cut it.
"Sorry for what?"
"For, leaving you in the hallway when Tori was about to pound your a-"
"Hey guys!" Nicky interrupts Tara which I was in the right timing.

I wave and Laila and her group leaves.

"Tara, there's something I need to tell you."
