Is this alright?
Can I feel this way?
Do I deserve this?
Can I be happy too?
I've felt so much pain...
Lost too many battles...
I forgot what it felt like to love.
But you,
You brought it back.
I've learned to smile again.
It's not a mask any more
And I can finally cry.
Cry for all the hardships I've faced.
Cry for the heartbreak I've felt
Cry that I was lucky enough to meet you.
You're my shining light in the dark,
My saving grace,
My shot at hope.
I know what it is I am feeling,
And I feel it because you said "Hi."
