Can I talk to you?

The more I talk with you,

The more I realize it day by day.

What I feel for when I hold your hand,

Or wrap my arms around your waist

And hold you in my embrace.

I am not falling for you.

For it has already happened.

I fell for you like you fell from the Heavens.

Crashing down to earth,

Like an asteroid the day the dinosaurs died,

Long, long ago.

Its beauty couldn’t compare to yours,

I worry if I should tell you,

Or keep it the way things are.

I can’t help how I feel.

And it’s hard to hold it in.

But I am afraid.

Afraid it will be too much for you

That things will change between us;

And never be the same again.
