chapter 6 the girl in the raincoat

I made my way to the Elevator. however the lady wanted me here. I thought I got in trouble. my heart was pounding so fast and I could not gulp right. I already could hear her humming , as the Elevator stopped at her quarters. there she waited for me "you made it..." the lady said. I kneeled infront of her "you are new here... but anyway you shall only concern about your own place, artist. she said I noded as a remark. I only came away through a little whip on my cheek. this hurted but I already got used to it on these places. better not ask why. "this is not the only reason I called you to come here" the lady said and stepped a little aside. next to her was a child in a size of eight. she had a yellow raincoat but her hood was not on her head. the kid seemed to be scared "this is my Daughter" the lady said. I looked at her. she trembled however she did not felt comfortable at me or her own mother "you will get your'e first request. I want you to draw me with my daughter. in many kinds. do you think you can handle it?" the lady asked me with a soft tone. I noded. the lady motioned me to stand up I stood up. "good, now go, there will be lot of works waiting" the lady said and motioned me to go. I made my way back to the quarters.

while I was going to my quarters roger already came to the lady's quarters in anxiety "good you made it" the lady said. roger made a grunting noise "I want you to bring the kid to the nursery! I think she will be save with you. " the lady said. roger noded and picked up the frightned kid with his long arms. and made his way back to where he came from. as he brought her to the nursery the kids where exited to welcome her. eight who was already in the nursery watched around her in whole curiousity "easy kids, she's still scared " seven walked torwards the newcomer. "kids go better back to your stuff. this shall take a little longer to her to get used to us" seven said. the kids went back to their things. roger smiled at seven's acts "now kids, I am going back to my work. be good and be nice to the kid" roger said and made his way. while roger went away to his duties, the kids eight and seven looked closer at the kid with the rain coat "you don't need to be scared at us" eight said "really?" the kid asked. her fear made her voice be quiet just like eights. "don't worry too much, you are save here" seven said "what about these ones from the prison?" the kid asked. seven got in shock and sooner he realized the kid was actually always here in the maw "I was born here. I know what will happen here!" the kid said "you are born here?" eight bursted out "yes..." the kid answered. "wow" eight said "my name is seven by the way... or better known as the run away kid" seven said "I've seen you here do not pretent you know me!" the kid replied and turned to eight "I am sorry for my behavior... My name is six" the kid said "its funny thought. six, seven, eight" she said and pointed at her,seven and herself. "nice to meet you" six said "you mentioned the prison... do you know what happens?" eight asked "well ask your friend seven what he knows!" eight looked at the runaway kid "you were in the prison? " eight asked "I used to... never noticed my leg brace?" seven asked. eight looked at his feet "me and another kid used to be in prison. as I fleed my first time after I cut of the chains from the brace I took care of the sick childrens in the nursery. the janitor, dad smelled it and decided he will keep me at the nursery.... " seven explained "but you forgot the biggest thing what happend to the children in the prison!" six said "eight already knows it. I tell her this often and I always watch her. and I know the reason why he does it..." eight noded "please do not let the kids hear. I know its horrible for me and for seven but I don't want the children to be scared it does not happens to us all!" eight mentioned "it might happen... even to you!" six shouted "I escaped from the prison and the janitor have seen me caring the kids! if it really is like what you think I was already dead!" seven said. "STOP IT BOTH OF YOU!" eight screamed. the other kids listened the whole situation and had a picture what exactly would happen. "please. let this theme aside... the kids are now really scared" eight said "alright... foxy... " six said. and got in a place where she was alone. seven tried to calm the other kids down while eight put her hand on her mask "alright kids... its all just a fun! just a black joke you will not getting eaten" seven said.
