chapter 3

"wh- who are yo?" I say quietly. "Doesn't matter." a voice says. Jake runs over to me and helps me up. "are you okay?" Jake says worried. Guards rush over to the ocean eyed boy and tackle him. He then knocks out one of the guards then the ocean eyed boy is tased and cuffed. The guards do the same with the Brennen. 

"im- I'm fine.." I grab jakes arm and grip it tightly. "good..I promise that won't happen again." Jake says. A bell then rings. "All right straight line, girls on one side and boys on the other." I let go of Jake but before I do he pulls me back. He places his hands on my hips. "just do what the guard says." Jake whispers. I nod, then he kisses my cheek. A smile lights up on my face, I don't know how I got here but i think Jake will make it better.

I walk to the line with all the other girls. I look over to Jake across the room and smile a little, he smiles back. I then turn my head to see the ocean eyed staring at me, for some reason he looked jealous, but why. I just look away and listen to the guard telling us to go into out cells. The guard stops me, he checks me making sure I didn't have anything on me. He then hands me a paper and it has 83Y on it. I assumed it was my cell. I walk down the hall and into my cell. I see a bed, a toilet, a sink with a wooden toothbrush, as well as a small thing of toothpaste, and a small desk with a metal chair. I sit down my metal bed with just a thin mattress on it. 

I hear my cell door creek and then lock. I sit there in silence just thinking. The a guard yells "NIGHT, NIGHT!"  I my head on the thin pillow as thoughts flow threw my head. I slowly drift to sleep.

*FLASH BACK* 

"Your a mistake, Your a horrible daughter!"

"MOM!please stop, I- he made me, he- he did it to me, I tol.."

"I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT YOU SLEEPT WITH MY HUSBAND!" *SLAP*

*END OF FLASH BACK!*

I sit up and let out a loud cry "STOP!" I realized it was just a dream, or was it, it seemed like more than a dream almost like it has happened before. I hear the small lock on my door shake. "Who's there?" My cell the opens. "Its me..." Jake whispers. I giggle. "ho- how did you get out of your cell?" I ask. "I have my ways." Jake replies. Jake then ask "are you okay I heard a scream that kinda sounded somewhat like your voice." I reply, "bad dream."

I sit up in my bed and Jake sits next to me. I was tired so I laid my head on his lap. He played with my messy black hair. "you know your very beautiful, why are you so shy?" I smile and look up at him, "I don't know, i'm not like that really, i guess I'm just scared." I say. Jake smiles and nods, "make sense." He whispers. I smile, why did I feel so comfortable around him, I just met him and I already want to kiss him, but for some reason I can't stop thinking about that ocean eyed boy, I need to know his name.

I ignore my thoughts as I slowly drift to sleep. I then feel a soft kiss on my cheek, "get some sleep." I feel my head fall and my cell door close. I fade into complete darkness.
