Chapter 9

I wake up to guards yelling "UP AND ADAM!" I look around and see Colby next to me just waking up. "Colby!" I whisper "hm." He says opening his eyes. He looks over and realized I was still in his "cell." He chuckles. "It's not funny, how am I going to get out without being noticed?" I ask. "Well just wait two minutes and the guards will walk away."  Colby says.

We wait a little then sneak out. We both giggle when we make it out.  He walks me to the luch room, but we had to seperate. Before he goes his way he grabs my hand and leans in, he whispered "we will get you out of here, okay." He caresses my cheek and pecks my lips. I smile. He walk away then I see Jake. OH NO JAKE!What have I done!

I rush over and grab my tray of food. I walk to the table and sit down. Jake doesn't even look at me and I know why. "Jake" I mumbled.  "Oh hey, so what's the news?" He says. I look at him "i- lo- look I know what you saw okay..i-" Jake interupts me. "You can explain, you hurt me!"  I start to get mad. "I hurt you, okay tell me why your in here then!" I yell. I try and lower my voice to not cause attention.

Jake eyes water, "what did he tell you!" He says. "Don't worry about that tell me why your in here, what happens to your last girlfriend." I explain. "That's non of your concern." He says turning away. "Well I guess, it's non of your concern what I'm about to do." I say then I get up and walk to a table Colby is sitting at.

I sit down and he turns to me. "Woah, hey...!" Colby says, I smile and turn to see Sam, and Kat, I was surprised, I then saw a guy with black hair, with a bun, I also saw a girl with black hair. "Who is this Colby?" The black headed girl said. "Oh this is Emily, she cool!" Sam says. "Hi I'm amber!" She says excitedly. I smile. I turn and wave at Kat. I then look to see Colby staring. "What?" I giggle. He just smiles and pecks my lips.

"OMG so cute!" Amber says. Colby chuckles and I giggle. We then talk, and talk and talk when I see jake eyeing me down. I ingnore him and throw my tray away and walk to the room with chess pieces and a cards. I sit down at a table with cards a shuffle the deck. I hear a chair squeak and Colby sits down. "Goldfish?" He says. I smile "sure."

It was going good and for once I was having fun, better than I did at home. Wait home? I'm starting to remember. I see Colby shuffling threw his cards when someone yells "outside!" I follow the group outside. As I'm walking out I feel someone grab my wrist. They run in front of me and I see Colby. He taking me somewhere. He take me to a drake Corner where no one can see us. "What are you doing?" I ask.

"Getting some alone time with you." Colby says then smiles. He places his hands on my waist softly and pulls me close. He whispered, "WE, will get out of here!" I smile and place my hands on his face. He kisses my lips and I kiss back. It was weird to do this in a mental hospital but I felt like I was in a dream I felt good. Colby's hands slid down to my butt, then it happend.
