Player and Blue: A Bad Day

A/n: Alrighty, let's get this going. Lots of inspiration from lxmon_. Sorry lxmon_, please don't kill me- ;-; Also, the narration in this chapter is real whack, so sorry about that. I got too lazy to fix it -_-.

Player's POV:

How would YOU describe Blue?

I would describe him as annoying, too smart for his own good, weak, pathetic. I would guess your description is similar to that. Will admit, his Viking horns look cool, but my hat is better. You know that, right?

I was so deep in thought that I didn't notice that Veteran and Blue had just spawned into the lobby.

Veteran came up behind me and smacked my back in a friendly way. "Hey Player. What's hanging?"

I didn't respond.

Veteran puts himself in between me and the floor. "Uh, hello? Player? Earth to Player, are you there?" Then he grabs my shoulders and shakes me and that did the trick.

"Hu? Oh! Uh, sorry Veteran. Got lost in my thoughts."

"I can see that. What were you thinking that was so interesting anyway?"

"Oh, just, ranting about something."

Veteran raises an eyebrow and smirks. "Oh is that so? What were you ranting about, may I ask?"

"Nothing. Not important." I fix my gaze on the floor in front of me again, pretending to be interested in the patterns on the floor. Veteran groans when he realizes Blue is in the game again and walks off to insult him, leaving me alone with my thoughts.

If we're being honest, I haven't had the best of days today. I slept in and was late for school. I forgot my homework and dropped the milk for my breakfast. We had a test today at school and I KNOW I am going to fail. I am supposed to be the one who was going to pick up some supplies for my school project with me and my friends, and I forgot again. My Wi-Fi has been on the fritz again, so I couldn't do anything for like 3 hours. I am only playing Among Us as a way to get away from everything. Ummmmmmmm...... I've been playing for the last 4 hours. Help.

"Alright Player. You are GOING to tell me what's wrong." Veteran insists, grabbing my shoulders again.

I'm not a mean person, but I think anyone would be a bit more irritable if their day has been this bad. Without really thinking, I slap Veteran's hands away from me and snap at him, "Nothing's wrong! I'm fine! Just leave me alone, okay!?" After those words left my mouth, I immediately felt guilty. The hurt look on Veteran's face didn't help with my guilt.

"O-Okay," He turns to leave. "I-I guess I'll leave you alone then...."

Great. Juuust great. Now I KNOW I've screwed up. Even my FRIEND has given up on me. Then I notice Blue walking up to me. Ugh. What does he want? I was expecting him to insult me or just plainly make fun of me, but I didn't expect him to take me over to one of the seats and talk to me. But that, that very thing I described, happened. I guess my eyes betrayed me again by showing my feelings.

"Hey Player. I know you might not want to talk to me, but you can tell me what's wrong. Trust me, I won't tell anyone." Blue says cautiously.

I buried my face in my hands and mumbled a simple "No." Blue looked like he wanted to say more, but he was interrupted by Captain, saying he was going to start the game.
