Finally, it's the first day of school. Summer is finally over and I can finally freely be with my boyfriend again. Warren Peace. Son of Baron Battle. Yes, his father is the famous villain that my father put in jail.
My mom opened the door knocking lightly, "Hey, honey are you ready for school?''
"Absolutely, I missed it so much and this year I get to help Coach Boomer with Power Placement," I smile excitedly.
"Well then miss excitement, come down for breakfast before your dad and brother eats it all."
I laughed lightly with mom and followed her down stairs to the kitchen where dad, Will, and Layla, "Good morning everyone," I smiled.
"Morning Tasha," Layla replied back.
I grabbed a piece of toast and put butter and jam on then ate. As I finished the other phone started to ring. Dad picked it up and answered it. After a bit he hung up, "There's trouble down town. Big trouble," He said to mom.
"Aww and I really wanted to see Will off to the bus today," mom semi-whined.
"Now, Will remember that most kids only have one superhero, so go easy on them," Dad told Will jokingly but serious at the same time.
When mom and dad where gone Will went and turned on the TV to watch them defiet the evil monster. "I flying to school. Do NOT be late for the bus please'' I grabbed my bag and hucked it on my shoulders. As I closed the door behind me I took off into the sky.
After about 5 minutes of flying I spotted sky high and at the spot I always land there he stood. I land a few feet away from him, away from my lovely firefly. "Hey Babygirl," Warren smiled at me and scooped me up into his arms.
"Hey hot head," I laughed hugging him back, "I missed you so much"
Warren kissed my forehead, "I missed you too. You should get a job at the paper launtern with me''
"You know I can't not with the way my father is all over in protecting me," I sighed holding his hands, "And plus on top of being the top student I have to keep on top of my figure skating too"
Warren looked at the ground before his head shot up, "Wait you still need a partner right?''
"Yeah where are you going with this?"
"You taught me how to skate last year so I could be your partner"
"Warren thats amazing! But what about my dad?"
"Forget about him. I don't want to hide outside of school"
I smiled reaching for his face and pulling him into a kiss.

"I love you," I whispered leaning my forehead on his.
"I love you too,'' he whispered.
I smiled and saw the bus land a bit away from us. "Hey I'll see you at lunch I have to help Coach Boomer with the Power placement," I smiled up at him.
"I'll see at our normal table my love."
I smiled and quickly ran off to the gym to help Coach Boomer get everything set up.
