I enter the Gym and Coach Boomer turns towards me, "Ahh Miss Stronghold glad you could make it," He smiled at me, "I have everything set up and the freshmen are with miss powers now and will be here soon."
"Got it sir. Sorry I wasn't here sooner I got a bit caught up," I smiled lightly.
Coach nodded as the doors opened and in walked the group of new freshmen. They all gathered in the front of the stage and Coach and I made our way to the middle of the stage. "Welcome to power placement," I smiled out at them all."
"Here you will demonstrate your powers and you will be deemed Hero or sidekick," Boomer added.
"I'm Natasha Stronghold, daughter of jet stream and the commander and this is Coach Boomer also known as Sonic Boom you should know him if you don't you have no life," I laughed at the last joke I made. He is always so sad about how no one knows who he was when he was a hero before working at the school so I try my best to cheer him up.
I Like to tell him that I'm his number 1 fan. And I honestly kinda am. Hes the best teacher I have. "Exactly what she said. You Will all come up here and demonstrate your powers. Now every year there are people I like to call Whiner babies. They come up here and like to question the system and how it works. We aren't gonna do that this year. Are we clear?," there were a few mumbles, "I said are we CLEAR?" He shouted using his powers .
"YES COACH BOOMER," Everyone shouted back.
"Starting with you. Whats your name." He pointed at a nerd small looking red head.
"Larry"
"Little Larry get up here," Boomer said.
Larry came up and Turned into a giant rock monster. "Car," I said and a car was dropped on him making him catch it.
"Hero," Boomer and I said at the same time.
Zach pranced up onto stage all cocky, "Did I say you were next?"
"Names Zach Coach Boomer, Tasha, try not to drop your clipboard," He said before clapping his hands together and nothing happening.
"Any day now super star"
"Im doing it"
"Doing what?''
"Im glowing"
"I dont believe it"
"Well its easier to see in a dark room or you could cup your hands together--"
"Sidekick," I said looking at him saddly.
"Tasha you dont wanna do that"
"SIDEKICK," Boomer yelled in his face.
A Freshman named Ethan came up next and started to butt kiss. He turned into a puddle so Sidekick he was.
Six arms-- HERO
Shape shifting into a ball -- SideKICK
Acid Spit -- HERO
Turning into anyone he sees -- HERO
Shape shifting into a guinepig -- Sidekick
Next up was Layla. I knew she was gonna refuse to show her powers already so I marked her as sidekick thats what boomer does. You refuse to show him and then you are a sidekick no getting around it.
We broke for lunch and after lunch it was Wills turn. This is gonna be bad. I left the gym and went to mine and warrens table in the lunch room waiting for him. As I entered the cafe Warren was already at our table glaring holes into the back of Wills head. I giggled and walked over to him waving at will as i passed him.
"Be nice Warren," I kissed his cheek shaking my head at him.
"What are you talking about I just wanna scare him a bit,"Warren chuckled.
"Just dont scare him to much. Whatd you get us for lunch?"
"Your favorite of course"
"The Hero Sandwhich and strawberry cake?" I asked excitedly.
Warren nodded and I jumped up and hugged him excitedly, "Your the best"
