2. Cold eyes (The interview)

"Well here I am, I can't leave now, or I still could try right?, I still can plan something, what if I run away?, this personal assistant won't know what happened, I bet I'm faster than her".

The assistant looked back and said "Excuse me, did you say something?", Oops I got caught, she thought.

"No, only that I'm really excited for this opportunity" and she felt how her cheeks started to blush, she didn't know what else to say, it was obvious her plan wouldn't work.

There's no going back, the office was closed, and she thought that maybe she has been worried in vain, they turned to the right side and walked to a meeting room, a huge meeting room, Lisa thought the last agency she worked for could fit in this place perfectly.

"Wait here Miss Manoban, someone will come in a minute to start the interview, it has been a long day, so you can already imagine our boss is not feeling in the mood, here's some water, I bet you'll need it", the assistant said, and that's when Lisa started to feel scared again, she looked around, everything seemed neat, brand new, it even seemed nobody used this room, everything was too perfect, when she started to relax, she placed her things on the table, time seemed to pass too slow, or it was only the fact she has been there for quite some time, she even thought that probably they forgot she was waiting inside.

She looked at her phone, she has been waiting for more than 20 minutes already, she tapped the chair with her finger tips, getting impatient minute by minute, but she decided she could wait a little bit longer, after all she has been inside the building for hours.

She took her phone and played a game for a little while, there was a damn user ChickenLover always beating her best scores, she could try to surpass that player while she was waiting, then after achieve her goal, it seemed she has been there for like forever.

"Ayshhhh maybe they really forgot I'm here, I can't believe this is happening, everybody took less than 10 minutes in each interview, and time keeps passing by and I'm still waiting, maybe they found their candidate already and nobody told me anything", she sighed deeply feeling really disappointed, cause she has been waiting for a really long time, and still nothing, nobody approached to the meeting room.

She texted Rosé to tell her that she could see her outside in a few minutes, it seemed they already found somebody for the post, she thought she could wait a little bit more, just in case the interview was still on or maybe reschedule it if possible.

By now her head was killing her and Rosé told her that she was crossing the street, eating in a French Café, and she could wait for a little bit more.

She took her phone again and kept playing, then she noticed everything was really quiet, she couldn't hear anything around her.

She checked the time again, she actually has been waiting for almost an hour and half "This is crazy, the nerves of these people" and she finally gave up, this time she decided to leave, at least she could try to look for the assistant that brought her there, she wanted some answers, she took all her things and once she stepped outside everything seemed empty, not a single soul or light in the offices, she got surprised "Unbelievable, they really forgot about me!, it seems everyone left already and here I am, like an idiot, I could die here and nobody would be looking for me, Ok, maybe I'm overreacting, but oh well... at least I didn't end up crying my heart out like some people did a few moments ago, It would have been embarrassing, really embarrassing", she said for herself and left.

Lisa approached to the elevator, and pressed the button, it seemed she waited ages, then she finally heard a click and the elevator doors opened, she was getting inside when she heard somebody was running and yelling to wait for her, she did and saw a beautiful young girl, smaller than her, carrying some papers and folders, Lisa put her things on the floor and decided to help the girl, but she rejected her hands immediately, "I can hold this by myself" she said while rolling her eyes, she didn't even thanked Lisa, she just pressed the button for the VIP parking lot that was underground.

Lisa just tried to ignore that girl, she didn't said anything cause she wasn't in the mood, and the girl didn't seem to care she tried to help her.

There was silence for a couple of minutes, Lisa took her things from the floor and went to the back of the elevator, that's when the girl looked at her "What are you even doing here? It's late and nobody stays till this hour", Lisa rolled her eyes and didn't answer.

The petite girl kept looking at her with an annoyed look on her face, and that's when Lisa noticed her beautiful feline eyes, cold eyes, but really beautiful, "I'm talking to you, don't you dare to leave me waiting for an answer, I'll fire you", Lisa was surprised after hear what she said, and chuckled, she just realised this must be the famous Ice Princess, so she decided to answer in a polite way or at least something that wouldn't sound as rude as the girl in front of her "Miss, you can't fire me, because I don't even work here, I actually had a long day, I'm tired so please let's just stay quiet, we don't really have to talk, really", Lisa felt even more surprised for this sudden courage, but she couldn't help it, she was in a bad mood.

The girl couldn't be more surprised, this was the first person that didn't seem to be scared of her, which made her feel a sudden rage, "You don't know who am I?, I'm the CEO of this place and I'm gonna make sure you don't come inside this building again", Lisa chuckled, the whole thing was too funny also annoying, she shook her head and took her phone out when she heard a notification from her phone, it was a text from Rosé:

Rosé 🌹

Maknae I have to leave, you have been taking long and I have a date, I'll call you later, I can't wait to hear what happened, call me😘

Lalalisa 😺

I'll call you tomorrow morning, and thanks for waiting for me, I'm on my way home now, hopefully I'll be able to rest, you won't believe what happened, it's just too 😭 but don't mind me, I'm fine, enjoy your date.

Lisa heard the so called Ice Princess stomping her foot, making her high heel resonate around, she thought that the petite girl in front of her was really cute even if she was really mad right now, it was obvious she was waiting for an answer "I'm sorry for bother you Miss CEO, you don't have to worry about me inside this building, I don't think I'll be able to come back here anyways".

The CEO was about to answer when the elevator stopped abruptly, shaking the floor and the lights went off, then the Thai heard the girl screaming, Lisa got worried, even if this girl was annoying, she couldn't stand to hear her screaming like that, the fear was real, she was really scared and crying her heart out.

Lisa tried to reach her but she couldn't see anything, she took her phone out of her pocket and turned on the flashlight, the girl was in a corner, crying non stop, all the papers she was previously holding where scattered around.

Lisa walked closer to the CEO and embraced her, "Hey look at me, don't worry Miss CEO, I'm here, nothing will happen to you, I promise", the girl relaxed a little, but couldn't stop crying, Lisa's heart broke a little, she was really scared, so she tried to distract the so called ice princess by talking to her, "Hey, don't cry, I'm Lisa, do you want we talk a little, so you can distract yourself from this situation?, It will pass fast you'll see", the girl nodded, "Come, let's sit on the floor".

Jennie was so embarrassed, how come she could be the cold CEO if she was afraid of the darkness?, plus this random girl saw everything, after threatened to don't let her step inside the building again, she still chose to help her and comfort her, she was so close that could sense the girl's fragrance, that made her relax a little bit more, it was a mix of vanilla and flowers, after listening to Lisa's proposal, she decided to sit by her side, she could feel her embrace, and got calm, she couldn't open her mouth, she tried but nothing came out, not a single word.

After a couple of minutes she managed to ask something "So.... Lisa what were you doing here so late?", Lisa answered "Do you really wanna know?", Jennie nodded.
