Morning came and Jennie knew she couldn't evade this topic anymore, she needs to talk to her mum about it, she already asked about Kai a couple of times and somehow she managed to change the topic.

"Good morning mum, are you busy?" Jennie asked when she got inside her mum's room, she was on the phone, and hung up, "Not for you darling, come here let me hold you like when you were a baby", Jennie crawled to her mum's bed and she layed down with her head on her mum's lap, her mum looked at her and caressed her daughter's hair.

"Mum I have to tell you something", tears rolled down her cheek, and her mum got worried right away, "What's wrong baby? Why are you crying?" She brushed some of her tears, Jennie thought about it a moment, she didn't want to break down in front of her mother, "Mum I broke up with Kai, I just... I just couldn't stand the way he kept treating me, he changed, he wasn't sweet anymore, he never answered my calls but he was jealous all the time", and that was it, she broke down in front of her mum and cried her heart out, her mum just hugged her tight, trying to calm her down, after a few minutes, she managed to tell her mum everything, even what Kai did to her arm, her mum was silent, she just kept comforting Jennie.

Mrs. Kim was so angry, but she didn't want to show it to her Jennie, she remained calm and said "Baby why you didn't call me?, you know I could have come sooner", "I didn't want to bother you mum, I'm sorry" Jennie said seeming ashamed for everything, her mum lifted her chin up and said "You don't have to be ashamed, you are an amazing and strong woman, you did the right thing, love shouldn't hurt you this way, or make you feel like you don't worth it, love should make you feel exactly the opposite, that you are worthy, that you deserve the best and mostly it should make you feel safe, peace and happiness, I'm prod of you, you were so brave, I always have admired you for know exactly what to do when there are troubles, this guy is an idiot for let you go and hurt you, but I'm telling you Ruby Jane, I won't let him lay a single finger on you again, I'll talk to his parents" Jennie hugged her mum tightly.
