CHAPTER 10 Grocery Store

Y/n's POV

When I finished telling Natasha what happened I felt arms around me, pulling me into a tight but comforting hug. It was nice to have someone try to make me feel better. I knew that eventually I would tell her, and I'm glad I did when I did. I barely even noticed I was crying until she pulled away from the hug and wiped away my tears. I'm not exactly a social or outgoing person but there was something about Natasha that made me feel comfortable, vulnerable even. Even knowing the fact she was a trained assassin, it still amazed me by how she always had me wrapped around her finger. I looked up at my stunning girlfriend, and to my surprise she had a few tears in her eyes.

Natasha's POV

I didn't like the fact that I was crying. I don't cry often but when it comes to Y/n, she brings out a while other side of me that I didn't even know I had. It's odd really, around other people I never cry but it's just different when I'm around Y/n. I brought my hand up and cupped Y/n's cheek, kissing her fore head. Sure enough she started to cry into my shoulder, letting me put my arm around her. That night we fell asleep in my bed, her head against my chest with my arms around her.

The Next Day

I woke up to a nice warmth asleep in front of me. Y/n was now facing me with her head nuzzled in the crook of my neck. She was smiling in her sleep and it was adorable. A few minuets later I felt lips press against my neck as I looked down to see Y/n awake, barely.

"Morning sleepy" I said while putting a strand of hair behind her ear.

She responded with a single grunt, clearly still grumpy. She was always grumpy in the mornings. I sat on top of her straddling her waist and pinning her arms above her head.
Her eyes widened as her face went red looking up at me. I laughed and leaned my head down to land some kisses onto her exposed neck. She started to shiver under my touch, making me giggle into her neck.

"C'mon, let's go get breakfast" I said while getting off of her.

She didn't move so I took the liberty in picking her up bridal style and walking to the kitchen.

"Put me down!" She giggled as we entered the kitchen.

"Oh get a room.." I heard Wanda mumble.

I put Y/n down, even though Wanda tried to make out with my girlfriend I couldn't help but feel bad. I quickly looked away and opened the fridge to see what we had for food. When I opened the fridge I saw there was almost no food and scoffed.

"Thor, how much did you eat!?" I turned to him.

He shrugged and laughed it off as I turned to my girlfriend.

"Grocery run?" She asked.

I simply laughed and nodded.

Y/n's POV

About an hour later Natasha and I parked the car and walked into the grocery store with a list of food and a bag full of money, complimentary of Tony. We grabbed a shopping cart and began to wander the aisles.

"Babe can you go grab a few cartons of milk?" Natasha asked.

I nodded and made my way to the dairy section. I skipped over to the milk and managed to carry two in each hand. On my way back I ran into what looked like a 19 year old male employee.

"Woah, need any help with that?" He laughed.

I nodded and handed him two of the milks as we slowly walked around to find Natasha.

"So what is a pretty lady like you doing buying four milks?" He flirted.

I tried my best to ignore the fact that he was flirting with me and I gave my honest response. "I live with my friends"

"I see" he said putting his extra hand on my shoulder. "Well if your not busy wanna grab some dinner?"

Natasha's POV

I looked over to see a mans hand on my girlfriends shoulder, staying there a little to long. I got mad when I heard the employee trying to ask Y/n on a date. I tried my best not to shoot him as I walked over and wrapped my arm around Y/n's waist.

"Hey babe" I said kissing her cheek then glaring at the employee. He put the milks he was carrying in the cart, scoffed and walked away.

"Jealous much?" Y/n laughed.

"Pardon me for not liking when other people hit on my girlfriend." I scoffed.

"It's ok Natasha" she kissed my cheek "I think it's cute" She giggled.

We finished getting everything we needed and that was in the list and by the time we don't done there was no room left in the cart or in out hands. We arrived at the cashier and scanned all of our items.

"That will be $330.85." The cashier said.

I quickly pulled out $350 and told them to keep the change. Y/n and I loaded all the grocery's into the car and started driving home.

"Hey Nat?" Y/n asked.

"Yes?" I took a quick glance over at her.

"Did you remember to buy sour cream and onion chips?" She begged.

"Yes, I got your chips" I answered.

"And the thing..?" She questioned.

"Yes" I laughed.

When we got back to the tower I parked the car in the garage and Thor, Clint, and Steve helped take the grocery's in since there was so much.

"Natasha?" Steve questioned.

"Hm?" I turned to him.

"Why did you buy these?" Steve asked holding up a large pack of sprinkles.

Y/n gasped and took them out of his hand. "Yay!"

I giggled and wrapped my arms around her.

"Y/n asked if we could buy some" I replied.

"Thank you!" Y/n exclaimed before kissing me on the cheek.

Everyone began to laugh at the kid-like wonder in my adorable girlfriend. The rest of the day we all spent lounging in the living room watching movies and just chatting. Overall it was a really good day, well, everyday is a good day with Y/n.
